This hotel has a great location and friendly staff at check in. Further cost savings can be achieved by prepaying for the parking garage for your entire stay. The room was always immaculate and featured modern furnishings and an incredibly comfortable bed. During our stay, there was a festive atmosphere as the hotel had been tastefully decorated for the Christmas holidays. We didn’t find much incentive to have breakfast at the hotel, only eating there once due to the abundance of fantastic restaurants around Barcelona.

I recently stayed at the INNSIDE by Meliá Barcelona Apolo and I was very impressed. This hotel is located in an upcoming area and is close to the cruise port. The hotel has recently been renovated inside and out and features beautiful rooms with comfortable beds. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. The only small downside is that the hallway doors close with a loud slam, and you can hear everything in the hall. It's too bad that this detail wasn't thought of during the renovation. The breakfast at this hotel is simply amazing! I have never seen such a selection of food, and there is even a chef available to cook your eggs exactly as you like. You can find waffles, muesli, cereals, fresh juices, different breads, cold cuts, yogurts, cheeses, fresh fruits, and so much more. The breakfast is absolutely wonderful!

I have stayed at this accommodation on numerous occasions, and it recently underwent a complete renovation. The accommodations are incredibly comfortable, with stylish interiors and ample practicality. The staff are always incredibly helpful and accommodating. Perfectly placed between the city centre and the airport.

I stayed in this great hotel a few years ago when it was still under a different name. The receptionist was a bit confusing, but the room rate came with a mini-bar. There were plenty of lifts and we were on the fifth floor. The room was spacious and clean, the bathroom was a good size and the air con worked, but it got quite warm at night, so I woke up a bit hot and sweaty. The room had some nice touches, like slippers and a dressing gown. The beds were comfortable and the pillows too, plus there were the usual amenities in the bathroom - shower gel, shampoo/conditioner, lotion. It would've been nice to have a shower cap and some cotton buds though. The towels were of good quality, but I would've preferred a double bed instead of two twins pushed together. We paid around £223 through booking.com, which I thought was quite expensive for one night. It was in an easy location for the Ramblas and other attractions, although check in was from 3. We managed to get our room early, arriving just after 1.30pm, and the shower had good pressure. There was a Metro station right outside the hotel.

I had a nice stay at this hotel. It was located in an up and coming area of Barcelona city center that was known for its rich immigrant culture; a far cry from the traditional Spanish vibe certain restaurants and shops can provide. It was within 8 minutes walking distance to the main city Promenade and not too far from the waterfront. The hotel was quite new and the building, both outside and inside, had been renovated. The lobby was beautiful and I was welcomed by friendly front desk staff. Check-in was fast and easy and there were many elevators preventing any waiting time. I was given a room (no. 657) on the 6th floor with some city view as requested. The room was big, modern and clean, with all the furniture in perfect condition. I appreciated the big TV and the large closet with plenty of storage space. The bed, however, was not ideal - two queen beds were connected together with a big gap between them and the pillows were uncomfortable. The bathroom was big enough although the shower was modern with a strong water pressure, there was no toilet brush and the amenities didn't please my nose. I also experienced slow Wi-Fi on occasions. All in all I recommend this hotel - my room rate was too expensive due to conference dates but the regular rate of €120 is reasonable for the quality of service. I would return.
