Visiting the INNSiDE by Meliá Barcelona Apolo was a fantastic experience. Located on the Barcelona equivalent of Broadway, with theatres, shows, bars, and restaurants nearby, the hotel is only a 10-minute drive from the port and Las Ramble. We were warmly greeted by the staff who were incredibly polite and welcoming. The room was incredibly comfortable, with large beds and plenty of space. The bathroom was also excellent, featuring a luxurious shower. But the highlight of our stay was the breakfast. There were an incredible variety of hot and cold options, so much so that we never went hungry. We would absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in Barcelona.
The concierge Ryan was incredibly helpful and friendly. We upgraded to a room/suite which was comfortable and luxurious. All of the extras were included ;-) Opting for breakfast was a great choice as the buffet offered an abundance of options for any taste, including gluten free. Highly recommended!
This place was ?. From the start, check-in was a breeze and the staff were so helpful and friendly. The room was ? and super clean, with a mini-bar and a safe. The bed was ? comfy and the blinds made for a peaceful sleep. We had an issue with the shower, but it was fixed with an upgrade to a suite on the 6th floor with a balcony ?! The butler was great and so helpful, too. The spot was ? for getting around town, from the beach and port to La Ramblas and Montjuic. We'd definitely stay here again ?!
What a great spot for exploring Barcelona! ?️️️️ Walking distance to the town center and harbor, plus the train stop right by the door. The breakfast was unbelievably delicious — omelet bar, waffles, pancakes and more??? The staff was exceptionally friendly, too. Not gonna lie, the rooms are a bit noisy, and they are not huge, but the beds are comfy and they get the job done. Plus, the black curtains make it cozy and block out the outside lights. Would definitely stay here again when in Barcelona. ?? The sign says Hotel Apolo Barcelona, not INNSIDE as listed on TripAdvisor. ?
This hotel offered a great experience overall. The rooms were spacious with comfy beds, the dining room provided a wide range of breakfast options and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the surrounding area had a not-so-great reputation. Our taxi drivers constantly warned us of the possible threat of pickpockets, advising us to be careful whenever we left the hotel. When outside the bars and restaurants, we were especially cautioned not to leave any phones or bags in plain view. All in all, the hotel provided an excellent experience despite the area.
