I booked a room some time ago. When I paid, I received an email confirming that I had only booked a bunk bed for one person. I wrote to the hotel to query it, but was told that what I had booked was correct. I asked for a 10% refund due to the misleading information I had found on the booking website, but a refund was not offered and no initiative was taken by the hotel. I would not recommend staying here.

I have stayed in a lot of hostels but this was by far the worst one. The toilets were absolutely filthy and the beds didn't seem to have been cleaned in a long time. The staff were also very unfriendly. The only good thing about this place was the location - it was close to the city centre.

We really liked the location of this hotel. It’s in a very earthy bohemian area. The accommodation itself was a decent deal but by no means cheap. We rented a 4-bed room for ourselves. Shared bathroom. Noise was tolerated by staff late into the night which was annoying and the bathrooms were not particularly clean. Basic Breakfast Bat downstairs was a great deal at only €3 per person.

This place was a major letdown. The bedding was grimy, the space was cramped and noisy. Not only were there a few people sleeping in the shared area, but they were there all hours of the night. The whole place was really untidy and grubby. We definitely wouldn't recommend it.

The first impression I got from the Arc House Gracia Hotel in Barcelona was not great. Francis from the Dominican Republic who was manning the front desk was quite dismissive, not even bothering to explain the rules of the hostel or where I could access what; he was far too busy chatting on the phone. I had quite a lot of luggage with me, including two backpacks and a ukulele, but he didn’t even offer to help me with it. The hostel itself was very basic and the cleanliness was far from satisfactory. I only stayed one night there and I’m glad I didn’t stay any longer.
