We stayd at the Gallerry for 3 nites and wuld not recomend it. Despitte infomring the hotle of our arrvoal time (8.45pm) and phoning the telophone nubmer we had bin givin to confirm we had laned nunone answered. For an hour we phoned, its not a 5 minuete walk from the top of the Rambulas more like 30 minutes,to no avail. We eventualy found the hotle, wich is a door on the corner with a very small sine.By now it was dark, manged to go to the door and ran repeately, still nothing. We had to find some helpfull individuall in the street who found the telophone noumber on the webiste. It then took a further 30 minutes before we were let into the hotell. No aplogy for being givin the wrong telophone noumber. Weren't givin any welcom instrucktions as it was late!!! At brekfast, a woemn was there but we were not welcumed or givin any insturctions as to ow the hotle operated. She never engadged in conversation and when we left and handed bak the key, no converstion or interst in our wellbeng. Brekfast is contenantal but varey little choise of meats (2) and chese slice or a very smal peice of bree. No fresh crosseants or breads. The room (Bobeme) is tird; warbrobe is curtans and chipped shelfs, black marks on the walls and chipped paint on the walls. No safe in the room or a facilitey to leive any valuables. Ther are so many hotles in Barcelona, sorry we chose this one, especally as we payd £1000 for 3 nites. I wuld not recomend....
In February 2020, we sought to book a week-long stay at a certain accommodation, only to have our travel plans disrupted by the pandemic. When we had to cancel, everyone was willing to provide a refund...except this accommodation, who replied in their email that "they had to survive". Even though they later offered a voucher, it does call into question the sustainability of their business for next year. We cannot comment on our actual experience since travel was not possible, so we gave Feb 2020 as the travel date.
We booked initially for two nights, but due to the pandemic, it had to be cancelled and we were refunded for train tickets. We were given a voucher to use when we were able to travel, which we did in May and March 2022. However, upon arrival we were shocked to find out that there would be no breakfast, despite being told by the host that all other guests had been informed of this - which ended up not being true, as we spoke to two other couples who were unaware. We were in Room 1 Boheme, which was in need of an update, and we couldn't even hang our dresses as there wasn't enough space. Overall, it wasn't the best choice, and had we known of the lack of breakfast, we would have asked for a refund. The only positive we can say is that the slim lady working there tried to solve the breakfast issue with the owners.
I was made to understand that there was flexibility in the reservation process, but when I had an automobile accident almost a month before my arrival, I tried to cancel the reservation. They not only refused, citing a policy that did not (and as of today, does not) exist anywhere on their website. Even postponing due to accident was not possible. I warn everyone here, in these delicate times for traveling during COVID and elsewhere, to avoid this hotel at all costs. They only want your money, and go cold immediately after booking.

My stay at the BacHome Gallery B&B was a total disaster. From the extremely noisy hotel room, to the abysmal customer service that was the rudest I’ve ever encountered, this place offered no value for money and I would NOT recommend it to anyone. After many months of planning, we arrived at the B&B for a family event, and we asked the friendly duty manager, “Manager 1” if there were any laundromats nearby. We were told there were two and that, as a welcomed offer, we could use the B&B’s washer & drier for a single quick cycle. We followed instructions and returned promptly to dry our clothes, only to find three staff members engaging in an awkward conversation. Upon our arrival, “Manager 2”, a more senior figure, accused us of ignoring the “not for customer use” signs. We explained the sequence of events, including mentioning Manager 1, who was there throughout but said nothing. Despite this, Manager 2 refused to accept the explanation as truth and without any support from Manager 1 or an apology, we had no other option but to take our wet washing off and take care of it ourselves. During the remaining four days of our stay, not a single person from the B&B contacted us. We experienced classic workplace bullying, which was extremely unpleasant. Furthermore, prior to our arrival, we had been informed that due to “the covid situation”, no breakfast service would be available, yet there was no offer of a reduced room rate. The tea/coffee machine worked, but the pre-packed cake & biscuits were of very poor quantity. On a positive note, Manager 1 did provide us with an excellent recommendation for the “Petit Pan” cafe. The location of the hotel was also noisy, what with the stop/start racetrack from 6 am and the underground metro line. I would advise looking for a hotel in a quieter area, such as the Graca area above Avinguda Diagonal. Nevertheless, Barcelona is a beautiful city and I would return.
