The room I stayed was incredibly neat and roomy. It was situated in a peaceful, safe area with great access to public transportation like buses and the metro. The staff was amazing - they were very helpful and welcoming. A definite must stay.
This hostal was a ? great value for money! The room was ? equiped with all the necessary amenities. The double bed wasn't super comfy and the pillows were kinda thin, but we still managed to get a good night's sleep. The atmosphere in the hostal was ? cozy, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. ? Just keep in mind that someone might not always be at the desk when you arrive, so check the time and search for the small sign carefully. The hostal was located on the E floor.
This accommodation is nestled in a tranquil area of Barcelona, surrounded by peaceful and tidy streets. It was an enjoyable stay. Whilst breakfast was satisfactory, the tables were too close together for comfort. Ultimately, this hostel provides amazing value for money.

I was searching for an accommodation option in Barcelona that had decent reviews, was within my budget, and had good access to public transportation. After scouring through many different booking sites, I eventually decided to go with something I was already familiar with. Although it wasn't the cheapest, it was worth it ?. It's a hostel that has only nine rooms in an apartment-style building located off a quiet street, not too far from the metro station. This makes it super easy to get around the city without staying in the most touristy areas ?️. If you book directly on their website, you get a complimentary breakfast. We didn't know that, but the breakfast looked quite nice ?. This place has been well maintained since my last visit 10 years ago, so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to my friends and family, and you too! ?
Overall, Barcelona City North Hostal is a budget-friendly hotel for tourists on a budget. However, the bed and pillows are incredibly uncomfortable, and some guests can be quite loud. Additionally, the bathroom is in need of some renovating. In the end, if you're strapped for cash, this might be an option, but you may want to spend a bit more for a better stay.
