This was an amazing place to stay! The rooms were spotless and cozy and there were so many fun things to do nearby. The breakfast provided was great, and the room was spacious. Location-wise, it was great too. This was an amazing hotel and I would like to express my gratitude for the wonderful experience.
We arrived in Barcelona to find ourselves in the midst of a bustling La Rambla. With the help of some kind-hearted locals, we navigated the narrow streets and pedestrian walkways of the Gothic district to reach our accommodation for the stay. As is usually the case in Europe, this place was scattered with a few stairs. But what really made it stand out was its location - situated a block away from the Ronda Del Lotorial, yet far enough to avoid the noise and the traffic. We were close to most of the attractions in the Gothic district, and if that wasn’t enough, we could take the Funicolari from the harbour to Montjuic or the metro and the tourist bus to explore further. The accommodation was clean, quiet and provided by a helpful staff. An ideal no-fuss hotel!
We have nothing to fault in our stay here. From the 24 hour reception to the free luggage storage, this property has been more than accommodating. The location is ideal - a couple of minutes away from the port and an abundance of shops, bars and cafes on the doorstep. Our room was larger and more modern than expected, while still keeping its historic look. Everyday the room was cleaned and refreshed with towels. All in all, we had a great stay here and have attached photos as evidence!
Based on our stay at this accommodation in late February of 2020, we would not recommend it. Situated in the old town area of Barcelona, the location was quite good. Unfortunately, the reception staff, apart from one friendly person, were very poor. Additionally, the section of the hotel we stayed in was rather run-down (as pictured).
The staff was ??, the view from our balcony was ?, the location was ??, and the place was ?. Although we were there during the coronavirus pandemic and got put on lockdown, we still had an enjoyable time. I'll definitely be back to this guesthouse again - and to Barcelona quite a few times ?!
