My stay was alright. I was kept awake multiple times throughout the night due to the excessive noise. The staff was friendly and willing to help with any issues, but unfortunately did not seem to be concerned about the loudness. In the middle of the night, some guests checked in and the lights were immediately switched on, startling me and my friend who were already asleep. The showers were neat and the room, generally, was in a good, clean condition. For the price, I would stay here again, mainly due to the helpful staff.

This accommodation had everything we needed and more! Its rooftop terrace provided the perfect chill-out spot to relax and take in the view of Barcelona. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and all the single beds meant no need for climbing up steps. One of the best bits was definitely the reliable Wi-Fi, as well as its good location within the city with a great bus service to get to the beach and other sites such as the Olympic Stadium and MNAC art gallery. We had a lovely walk from the hotel to the fascinating Gothic Quarter, too! All in all, this stay had all the necessities plus some great extras.
Pros:
-extremely centrally located (really close to the metro!)
-stunning rooftop terrace
-affordable for Barcelona
-large and clean showers
-24/7 reception available
Cons:
-unpleasant musty smell in the rooms (upon arrival, the staff attempted to cover this with room spray in front of the fan)
-small community kitchen with minimal utensils and pans
-bulky and noisy fans/AC units
-overall feeling of the place being cheaply built
-breakfast milk provided with cornflakes and coffee was past its use-by date
-fridge overloaded and malodorous; clearly needs to be cleared out
-staff not particularly helpful, requiring a lot of effort to get room deposit back.
I had an enjoyable stay at this hotel, located in a tranquil part of town with lots of supermarkets nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the cleanliness was superb. There is a kitchen where you can prepare and heat your meals, although it was missing some items such as cutlery and crockery. The free wifi was a huge perk.
simply horrible.
We booked at this place as our flight was so late, children were exhausted and stressed. We tried to handle the situation but the person at reception wasn't very understanding. When we looked at the room, it was filthy. The bathrooms and shower were absolutely filthy so we asked for a refund of our money and wanted to leave. Unfortunately, this was not possible. We attempted to rest but it was extremely difficult due to the circumstances. We decided not to even use the toilet, it was truly terrible.
