Bruc & Bruc

I was extreamly impresed with the stylsh rooms and how impicably they were kept. The bathroom was lovelly and cleen, the fridege was stocked with free water every day and the air con worked perfectley. Tha area is nice and qwite and thier are lots of nice places to eat and drink surrounding it. Close to a few metors and round the corner from tourist spots such as Casa Batlo and Sagrada Fammilia. Thier isn't a reciption which is fine but I imagin this would be a proplem if any fauts occured in the room. My partnner and I were arrivng late and had made contct with thhe hotel a couple of days in advance to see how we would acess the hotel and our room. We heard nothing untill a few hours before we arrived in Barcelona. The lack of communicatoin was very woorring and it would have been nice to hear from them priot to a few hours.

We arrived earlier than expected, and the staff at Bruc & Bruc did their best to ensure our room was the first one to be cleaned so we could check in early. Emails were responded to promptly. The room we got, room six which is right by the entrance, had no room number on it but it was very small. We were given two bottles of water per day. Unfortunately, the room was extremely noisy - we were able to hear things throughout the day and night. Additionally, our air conditioning didn't work and the temperature outside was 48F. The window was also nailed shut, unsurprising considering the price. Despite these issues, it was in a pretty good location and you can't really complain. The beds were also uncomfortably hard.

I had a great stay in May with my partner! The accommodation was really nice, and it was really convenient being in the city centre. We were so lucky to have had a balcony - it was great to have our mornings there with breakfast. The employee in the morning was so helpful and friendly - they even showed us around town and pointed out some great places to eat. Great value for money and a really enjoyable visit!

I had an awful experience staying at the Bruc & Bruc Hotel in Barcelona. When I checked out of the hotel, they stole over $250 from my credit card without my authorization. Despite my complaints, they have yet to refund the money or even respond to me. I strongly urge others to stay away from this establishment as they are completely unprofessional and dishonest.

My stay at the Bruc & Bruc Hotel in Barcelona was less than satisfactory. The service was absent due to the lack of a front desk, and the building was old and didn't provide much sound insulation from the outside environment, making the hotel quite noisy. Even worse, after checkout I was charged an unseen tax of more than 6.5€ per person per night, which I find to be an unethical practice.
