Casp Green House

If you're seeking an economical and secure spot to stay in an ideal location, this is it! The cleaning staff was fantastic, ensuring the room was spotless each day. There is also a refrigerator in there! There are plenty of nearby small stores as well as a really nice Carrefour two blocks away. In addition, a fabulous wine shop is down the street. The beds are quite comfortable and the best coffee shop in Barcelona is right next door, known as Bergamote.

This guest house offers an excellent option for those searching for accommodation in a low-cost price range. The location is terrific (nearby tourist attractions, supermarkets, and in a busy yet lit neighborhood), the room was spick and span (including a minifridge), and the complimentary wi fi works perfectly. I never heard any racket (an issue mentioned in some reviews). Checking-in and out was a smooth process, and the personnel was professional and efficient. Furthermore, I requested for a reference to an appropriate taxi that would take me to the airport and was given a choice that enabled me to book it via WhatsApp (since I didn't have access to a local telephone). The only drawback I could point out is the lack of a permanent concierge at the property, which makes it less secure (even though there are surveillance cameras). Highly suggested!….

I stayed here for 3 nights and it was definitely not worth the money. ?‍♀️ From the website I was expecting parquet flooring, a bar, breakfast, soundproof rooms and luggage storage - none of these were available. For some of the inner rooms, you can't even open the window because of the smell of fried food coming in. The walls are very thin and the floor is cheap laminate. The bathroom floods because the shower fittings don't work properly and the fridge is so loud, it needs to be unplugged in order to sleep. ? Furthermore, there's no fire escape in case of an emergency. ? When I asked about it, the man who is around for 2 hours each morning told me there was a fire extinguisher and not to worry as there had never been a fire. ?‍♂️ I wouldn't recommend this place at all. ??

Nothing special about the Casp Green House Hotel in Barcelona. Our room was quite dirty. Wi-Fi connection was quite fast, though. The staff were nice and friendly, but the cleaning lady unfortunately didn’t speak English. The air conditioner was working alright. We stayed there for a single night – the TV was okay and it’s not a hotel, but a guest house. The walls are quite thin, which means that noise from the other rooms could be heard easily.

The accommodation I stayed at was far from meeting my expectations. The state of the room was unclean with noticeable stains on the sheets. It smelled of a terrible odour and the sheets felt damp. Furthermore, the mattresses were full of protruding strings, making it uncomfortable to sleep on. To add to the discomfort, the doors were incredibly difficult to open. The only positive aspect of my stay was the service provided, otherwise I wouldn't choose to stay again.
