Catalonia Albeniz

During our trip to Barcelona, we had the pleasure of staying at a hotel that we were extremely happy with. It was conveniently located near the metro, making it super convenient to travel from the airport. The rooms were impeccably clean and the bathrooms and bedding were of very high quality. The windows could also be opened, allowing for fresh air to circulate. One of the highlights of our stay was the rooftop area, which was a small but lovely oasis to unwind after a long day of exploring. The pool, which stayed open until 22:00, was warm and inviting, making it perfect for a relaxing swim. We must also give a special mention to George and Angel, who provided excellent service during our stay. We would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again in the future.

My stay in Barcelona was absolutely fantastic. The room was immaculate and the staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly. Although the pool wasn't very large, it was still a nice addition to the hotel. The location was perfect as it was in close proximity to all the sights we wanted to see. Best of all, our room was peaceful with no outside noises to disrupt our rest.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, answering all of our questions. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast which included lots of choices and the hotel restaurant was good too.

We stayed at Catalonia Albeniz for a weekend and had a fantastic experience. The room was modern and comfortable, and the amenities were excellent. It was great having access to the coffee and tea-making facilities, and the mini-fridge was handy too. The hotel is within walking distance to the metro and railway station, so it was easy to get into the city. The terrace and roof top pool were a definite highlight, as we enjoyed stunning views of the city skyline. The staff were wonderful; they answered all of our queries and made us feel right at home. We took full advantage of the breakfast buffet, which had a great selection of food, and the hotel restaurant had delicious food too. Overall, our stay at Catalonia Albeniz was perfect and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay in the city.

We stayed at Catalonia Albeniz during a recent trip to Barcelona and couldn't have been happier with our choice. The hotel is conveniently located just a 10 minute walk to Sagrada Familia, with plenty of cafes and bars also within walking distance. We found the bus and metro stations easy to access and Albert on reception was very friendly in providing us with information regarding metro tickets. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the sheets and towels regularly changed. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast facilities so can't comment on that aspect, but our room was lovely and warm despite the cold February nights. Overall, we highly recommend this 3 star hotel for any traveler.

We stayed at Catalonia Albeniz for a 3 night stay and it was such a great experience! The room was spacious, clean and stylish, with amazing views over the city. The staff are so friendly and helpful, we felt very welcome. We had a mini fridge in the room which was great for keeping breakfasts in and the bed was made fresh every day which was a nice touch. We chose not to have breakfast supplied as we were on a budget so we used the local Aldi/Lidl for snacks. The metro CLOT station was only a few minutes away and there were some lovely restaurants around the corner such as El Clot. The pool was great to relax in after a day of exploring and we felt very safe as black people throughout our stay - we had heard bad experiences at other hotels in Barcelona. The hotel was also nice and quiet on each floor. Overall, we had an excellent experience at Catalonia Albeniz and would highly recommend it to others! We would definitely stay here again.
