The recently renovated hotel seems to have lost some of its charm. There are no closed wardrobes available for hanging clothes and the bathroom door opens directly onto the toilet, making it uncomfortable for anyone using it while someone else is in the room. Additionally, there are no drawers to put away other items of clothing, even though there is enough space in the room for additional furniture. Overall, I was disappointed with these lacking amenities, especially since I had higher expectations from the hotel chain.
I recently came back from a 4-night stay and I can confidently say that I was thoroughly impressed with the hotel. The employees were incredibly accommodating and kind, and the cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch. Its contemporary design added to the overall pleasant experience. The pool was a refreshing escape from the heat after a day of sightseeing and the hotel's location was unbeatable, close to all major tourist spots. I would definitely recommend this hotel without hesitation and I plan on returning for future visits.
I just got back from my stay at the Catalonia Diagonal Centro hotel and I am so glad I chose it. The hotel is in a central location, close to the Ramblas, Passeig de Gracia, and Diagonal, so all the popular tourist sites are within easy walking distance. Plus, there are plenty of restaurants, supermarkets and other stores nearby. The rooms were nice and quiet, and the staff were both professional and friendly. This hotel is one of the best in Barcelona and my fourth stay here confirms that. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay at an affordable price.
The stay at Catalonia Diagonal Centro was a pleasure. The location was great - close to all the nearby attractions, restaurants and shops. The staff at reception was excellent, they made sure all our needs were taken care of. The rooms were ok, a bit in need of some maintenance and could have done with better sound insulation in the windows. The towels definitely need to be changed. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of foods available, and the gym was extremely well equipped. All in all, it was an enjoyable stay.
Front desk staff were attentive and eager to please, always with a smile on their face. The Catalonia Diagonal Centro Hotel is pristine and relaxing, with every amenity you could think of. The room was spacious and cosy and I felt like I was staying in my own home. The restaurant was tranquil and the waiter Miguel was delightful and made me feel comfortable all the time. He provided excellent service with a warm and easy-going attitude. My stay at the Catalonia Diagonal Centro Hotel was truly unforgettable.
