This hotel exceeded all of our expectations. My husband and I stayed here for a quick getaway to celebrate his 40th birthday and we were blown away by the impeccable service and hospitality of the staff. They were incredibly helpful, provided great information about the area, and made us feel truly welcome. We will definitely choose to stay here again on our next trip. The beds were extremely comfortable, the rooms were modern and spotless, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay truly unforgettable.
The accommodation boasted a cozy and comfortable bed, with a silent and efficient air-cooling system. The breakfast spread was top-notch, and the staff were all very amicable. The cleanliness of the entire property was also commendable. Overall, I had a great experience during my stay. That is all I can share, but I am compelled to add a few more words to meet the minimum character requirement for this review.

This stay was not enjoyable at all. The advertised rooms did not match the reality I experienced. The Catalonia Roma had what I thought would be a good value. But turns out I could have saved money and gotten the same quality in a hostel. We stayed in a room on the infamous floor E - one of the worst rooms in the building due to bad ventilation, noise and the distinct smell of poop that floated in every time someone flushed the toilet in a different room. Staff was not helpful at all and I had to talk with four different people before they tried to find a solution. In the end I was without a place to be for an entire day of my stay. Definitely not an enjoyable experience.
I had a pleasant stay at the Catalonia Roma. It's well positioned close to Barcelona Sans station and Plaza España. The room was comfortable and had all the necessary facilities such as a kettle and minibar. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I had to wait for a week for the bill as their system encountered a technical issue.
Can't say enough about our stay.
Our stay at the Catalonia Roma was absolutely fantastic. The location is perfect - only a five minute walk from Barcelona Sants train station and near major subway lines. On check-in we were early, but receptionist Maria was so helpful. She even gave us great advice on retirement areas around Spain and Portugal. The room was great, and when we mentioned the pillows were too hard, they immediately gave us softer ones. There's a pool on the 7th floor, and the restaurant and bar are open in the evenings. The breakfast was delicious and stocked with a variety of food. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay - highly recommended!
