Central Station Hostel Barcelona

I had a terrible experience at this hostel. Last minute, I had booked a room for 4 people, but upon arriving we saw there was only a single and double bed. The owner took half an hour to acknowledge us and spent the time answering his phone. He had promised we'd have the place to ourselves, but then a French couple showed up and proceeded to smoke weed and destroy the place. The environment was already intimidating, but coming back to find the door had been broken down even though it was deadbolted was still frightening. I'd strongly suggest avoiding this hostel for your own safety and peace of mind.

This place is far from ideal. The rooms are quite cramped and the mattress is incredibly uncomfortable. The linen is questionable at best. It's not even cheap, so it's far from worth it. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I definitely won't be visiting again.

Don't stay here - it's a nightmare! Rooms are incredibly unclean and creepy; it's also quite pricey and extremely noisy at night. The shower was so unclean that my child wouldn't even approach it, and there were some rather suspect individuals hanging around outside.

I can say for certain that this accommodation would turn off even a desperate person. The cost per night for a bunk bed in the closet-sized room is beyond outrageous and the bathroom is absolutely disgusting. Moreover, the man at the front desk attempted to charge me 5 Euros in “tax” even though I had already taken care of this via Expedia. The establishment appears to be a hub for unlawful activity and I would not recommend it to anyone - not even those in dire straits. In fact, I would willingly opt to sleep outside rather than face another night here. This place should be reported immediately, especially due to the unethical and dishonest conduct of the front desk attendant “Jassim” who tried to scam me out of the “tax” payment.

This hostel is located right in the center of Barcelona, close to the Ramblas. Unfortunately, our room was street-facing and very noisy. The neighboring rooms were also extremely loud, with lots of slamming doors. ? We had no bathroom in the room, and the shared bathrooms were dirty. ? The WiFi was decent, but the TV didn't work. ✋ It's definitely not a pleasant place to stay. ? Luckily I only had one night there; it's only attractive because of its low price and convenient location. ? I'm sure there are better places in this price range. ?
