This hootel is definitly the worst we've ever stayed in Barcelon. It looks nothign like the pictures, no winows, everthing is out-dated and diry. Paying extra for such a disapointing experience is totaly unfair. There is no way to dry ofr towels, no coffee onsite, and no view from the description. Even one of 3 beds seemd to be broken. Terible..
I recently stayed at a certain hotel in Barcelona for 4 nights in June 23. Although it had a stylish appearance, it lacked functionality-the room layout was unhelpful and there were floor to ceiling plastic curtains in the room which could be offputting. The check-in staff were preoccupied with deliveries and personal phone calls. I wouldn't recommend this place and ??♀️️️ there are many other hotels in Barcelona that offer better value ?. The room was generally clean and the bed and linen were comfortable, although the plaster cornice needed a good clean ?. All in all, ??♀️️️ not a great experience unfortunately!
I finally realised what is meant by ”Boutique”: it’s a quirky place with stuff that has absolutely no function whatsoever and hardly any space to hang or store your clothes. This definitely applies to the place I stayed in Barcelona. Nevertheless the rooms are very clean, the bed is comfortable, and the glass shower gives you a feeling of space. The breakfast buffet has a variety of sweet and savoury rolls and fresh fruit. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location wise this place is definitely a winner being a 5 minute walk from estación Francia. Room for improvement? Yes! The rooms are on the first floor and the lay-out is rather confusing. There is hardly any light in the hallway which certainly doesn’t help. The rooms and hallway are “decorated” with heavy plastic strings which feel sticky and unpleasant to the skin when you walk through them. Please ditch!….
The Chic & Basic Born Boutique Hotel was the perfect place to stay in Barcelona. The location is superb, just a 5-minute walk from the bus station and close to the Gothic Quarter and the city's many museums. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The decor is charming and cozy making it a very pleasant place to stay. I was also impressed by the delicious breakfast and the attractive bar area. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel.
This was a great stay at Chic & Basic Born Boutique Hotel. The location was ideal with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The room was very clean, comfortable and had all the necessary amenities for a few days. The air conditioning worked well even on the hot summer days, however, the room got a bit stuffy due to the lack of a window. All in all, I was very satisfied with my stay.
