I selected this hotel due to its close proximity to my work destination. However, upon my arrival, I encountered difficulty as they do not accept digital credit cards. This resulted in a delay of an hour and a half before being granted entry, despite my reservation being fully paid for. To make matters worse, upon checking out, I had left my phone charging on the nightstand and despite numerous attempts to retrieve it, I was unsuccessful. My colleague even reached out on my behalf, but their response was rather dismissive. If you plan on staying here, I suggest bringing earplugs as the walls are thin and noise from neighboring rooms can disrupt sleep.

This hotel is conveniently located between two popular neighborhoods in Barcelona, but unfortunately, it lacks some key features that would make it truly exceptional. While the reception area is vibrant and well-maintained, the rest of the hotel is not as up-to-date. The corridors and staircases have not been fully refurbished, giving evidence of the hotel's past. Additionally, the corridors are not well ventilated and have carpeted floors, which can be uncomfortable for some guests. The rooms are also not without their flaws, as the wardrobes are extremely small and not suitable for winter travel. Some rooms may also have chipped walls and holes on the bathroom floors, which are not ideal for a hotel that charges over 1,000 euros per stay.

There are some small improvements that can be made without any additional cost, such as adding a glass or storage for toothbrushes in the bathroom and a folding luggage stand in the rooms. These simple additions would greatly benefit travelers, especially after a long journey. However, the lack of enthusiasm from the receptionists was also a disappointment. A warm smile goes a long way in making guests feel welcome, and unfortunately, the receptionists here seemed uninterested and gave off a bored attitude. This could be improved with some training.

There are also some costly improvements that could be made, such as adding functional furniture in the rooms to make up for the lack of space. Overall, my stay here was uneventful, but it did not leave a lasting impression on me. I would not choose to stay here again, especially after being charged an extra 2 euros for a bottle of water upon check-out, despite having paid over 1,000 euros for my stay.

I highly recommend Hotel Reding Croma. It was a pleasant surprise - modern, close to great restaurants and shops. The staff was friendly and efficient when checking in. The room was nicely decorated, with good lighting and a large bathroom. The air conditioning was great, and the beds were soft and comfortable - two were pushed together to make a big one. The theming was really fun, which was a nice touch. All in all, a great place to stay - I'd definitely come back!

I visited Hotel Reding Croma for a week long stay in April 2021 and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The 24 hour reception was useful and it's amazing to have that service in a 3 star budget hotel. The room was well-maintained, clean and spacious, plus the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. I was impressed with the bathroom amenities and AC present in the room. The location was ideal as you can walk to explore the city and also it has plenty of restaurants nearby. The receptionists were polite, friendly and extremely helpful. In short, I highly recommend this hotel.

My stay at the Hotel Reding Croma was an overall positive experience. The room I got was a triple room, even though I had booked a single room. As it was equipped with a sea view, I was comfortable with the upgrade. The room was spacious and clean, however the amenities needed some improvement. The internet was also very slow. The walls were also not soundproof as I could easily hear noise from the neighbouring room. In the middle of the night, people were making phone calls in the corridor and were gathering outside, causing disturbance to other guests. Despite the inconveniences, I think the value for money was decent as the room rate was €65. Location was good and the receptionist was very helpful and friendly. For a better experience and satisfaction, they should work on their soundproofing and sound control.
