Customer services were lacking and rooms were only OK at best. There was an unpleasant odor present, and some rooms didn't have all the furniture promised. The price was more than expected for a two-star hotel and the reception staff had an unprofessional attitude. We wouldn't suggest staying here.
The hotel looks nice enough and is definitely clean. The included breakfast is great and definitely provides enough sustenance for the day ahead. But, unfortunately, the walls are not insulated and it is an incredibly noisy place with only limited peace from 3 to 4AM. The smell from the adjacent public toilet seeps into the room and the midnight to 2AM period is the worst for it. To be honest, it's unbearable. If you're going to stay here, BRING EAR PLUGS - sleep is a must!
I just had a great time staying at the Colors hotel in Barcelona. The entrance to the hotel had clearly been renovated and looked really nice. The rooms were clean and tidy, although a bit dated. The cleaning lady was doing a great job too. Andres at the reception was a real asset - he was helpful and knew so much about Barcelona that I felt like I'd skipped a few Google searches. The breakfast was good, tasty, and provided enough variety to keep me going throughout the day. Overall a great experience, and I can definitely recommend Colors in Barcelona.
My experience at Colors was nothing short of disappointing. We had made our arrangements to stay there weeks in advance, only to be cancelled due to Covid-19. Our attempts to contact them via phone and email were fruitless - nothing was answered and no help was provided. We were truly left in the lurch and had to make alternate arrangements. Truly miserable service from the hotel, and I would not recommend them to anybody.
The stay at Colors was a fantastic one. We opted for the Junior Suite and found it perfectly comfortable. The staff was very helpful, courteous, and provided excellent service to us. The hotel is a mere 1.5 km away from the flea market, so you can easily walk there in a few minutes. Furthermore, numerous restaurants and bars are located nearby, so dining and entertainment options are excellent. A pleasant surprise was the National Parliament and its guard parading every Sunday - definitely a sight to behold and an experience to remember. Overall, Colors is a great choice for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the city.
