Cram Hotel
About
Very comfortable
A four star hotel well situated in the Eixample. We appreciate on this design hotel the Spa and the little pool at the terrace, the charming cocktail bar and his excellent restaurant Le Gaig, one of the best tables in the city, renown by his traditional cuisine ( one Michelin star). The rooms are relatively small but very functional, perfectly equipped and definitively very comfortable. If you can, ask for the Privilege Suite, larger, offers a magnificent view of the city. Well ranked by our clients, we can only recommend it.

This hotel is in a good location and has great service. It's decorated in a modern and clean style, but the bathrooms are not up to the same standard. The silicone work and other finishing aspects could be improved, as well as the ‘pool’ on the roof. There were no sun loungers and it was too close to the breakfast restaurant for it to be a relaxing experience. The breakfast selection could be more varied and of better quality too. Despite this, it's still a good hotel and I would recommend it with a few tweaks.
We stayed in two separate rooms in this hotel and upon entering the first, we were overwhelmed by a strong smell of smoke. We soon realized that the hotel was permeated by this odour and even the second room was affected when opening the door. On the positive side, the beds were comfortable and the area was quiet. The bathroom was stocked with bath sheets rather than just towels and the location was convenient. There were, however, several drawbacks – the smell, a lack of outlets located near the beds and a confusing layout of light switches in the rooms. Ultimately, we would not recommend staying here.
Good hotel. Rooms were comfortable and very clean, the showers were fantastic. Breakfast was satisfactory, though there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room. I stayed here for 3 nights and found the location great, being close to the centre and having everything I needed within easy reach. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always willing to assist. Overall, a great stay.
I've been a traveller for a while, and recently came to Cram Hotel by train from Madrid for a 4 night stay. I would have to say this place wasn't my favorite. Despite making a request for a nice, quiet room on a higher floor for my romantic anniversary trip with my fiancé, my request was completely ignored. Even worse, the toilet button in our room was broken and so we had to switch rooms for one night. Though they at least fixed the button (with help from a nice guy at reception), no one even said 'sorry'. It's a very impersonal place, so don't expect any kind of emotional warmth or sympathy (unlike at boutique hotels). All in all, not my favorite experience and wouldn't recommend staying here.
but this was not a huge issue and would not stop us from returning. We really enjoyed our stay at the Cram Hotel and would definitely recommend it to others.
We recently stayed at the Cram Hotel for 3 nights and the experience was wonderful. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating and the room was spotless. Even the rooftop bar was great, perfect for a chilled evening beer. The only thing we missed was tea/coffee making facilities in the room, although this didn't stop us from enjoying our stay and returning. If you're considering a stay at the Cram Hotel, we would definitely recommend it!
