Second time around was even better than the first! The rooms are basic, but newly renovated and super clean. We were a little worried about finding the hotel since it is on a small side street, but it was a great experience. Breakfast buffet had a great selection of items and is serviced daily. It’s a great central location too, with Universitat Metro stop just 2 blocks away and only a 5 minute walk to La Ramblas. Highly recommend Grupotel Gravina!
Grupotel Gravina is a great hotel with attentive staff and a unique old-building charm. We arrived early, but the front desk staff had no problem finding us a room early and offering to hold our luggage until check-in. The hotel isn't huge, but it can seem that way with the maze of hallways and two tiny elevators. Fortunately, our standard room was more than adequate for us and our luggage. The room was very clean, fully updated, and the shower was great. Plus, breakfast was surprisingly delicious for a 3-star. The only downside was that the hotel is tucked away on a small side street, making it slightly hard to find. But overall, staying at Grupotel Gravina was a great experience.
