This accommodation was a fantastic choice for our stay in Barcelona. It is located on a peaceful street, yet still conveniently close to popular attractions and a variety of great dining options. In fact, Casa Batallo and other notable sites are just a short walk away. While the standard room size may be small, it was perfectly suitable for our short stay and the hotel also offers a charming breakfast area and lunch restaurant. The staff were truly exceptional and made our experience all the more enjoyable.
The hotel we stayed at in Barcelona was a peaceful oasis in the midst of a bustling city. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a refreshing glass of sparkling wine, which was a pleasant way to start our stay. Our room was lovely, complete with a balcony, which we decided to splurge on for some extra relaxation after exploring the busy streets all day. The room had a modern and clean design, and the bathroom was a good size with complimentary robes and slippers. We opted for a room-only stay, so we didn't get to experience the breakfast, but we noticed there were plenty of charming local bakeries nearby offering delicious pastries for breakfast. The Eixample district where the hotel is located is a charming and pleasant area to stay in, and we would highly recommend it to others.
After reading some reviews about the accommodation, I found it satisfactory but not worthy of being deemed "the best hotel ever" as some have claimed. Perhaps for those who have less experience traveling, it may hold that title. The location was convenient in a peaceful neighborhood, about a 15-minute walk from Place Catalunya. The welcoming glass of Cava at check-in was a nice gesture, but our initial room was a disappointment. It was exceedingly tiny, with no room to even open a suitcase on the floor next to the bed. Definitely not worth the price we paid. Thankfully, we upgraded to a more spacious Superior room, which had a comfortable bed and was clean. However, the TV did not work properly and despite reporting it to the front desk three times during our two-night stay, nothing was done to fix it. Overall, the hotel was pleasant but not one that I would eagerly return to, as there are certainly better options available.
During my recent trip to Barcelona, I had the pleasure of staying at a 4-star superior hotel in the city. The experience was nothing short of amazing and I am already planning to return. The location was ideal, the service was top-notch, and the design of the hotel was simply stunning. Our room was not only comfortable but also equipped with all the necessary amenities in the bathroom. It was also a pleasant surprise to find out that the safety deposit box was offered for free. And to top it off, having a coffee machine in the room was the cherry on top. Overall, I couldn't find a single fault with our stay. Highly recommend it!
During our time in Barcelona, we opted for a stay in the Junior Suite and were pleasantly surprised by the spacious layout of the room. The entire staff was extremely friendly and always eager to assist with any needs we had. To top it off, the breakfast provided was spot on and ensured a great start to our days. Without a doubt, we would choose to stay here again when we return to Barcelona.
