Really comfortable rooms

Hesperia del Mar is just few steps away from the seafront on Diagonal Mar. A 4 star hotel with a Spanish cuisine and tapas restaurant, Bar, 24-Hour Front Desk, Newspapers, Terrace. Rooms are really comfortable with for most of them view on the sea. You will appreciate free wifi spaces...

The Ramblas and Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter are only 5 km from the hotel. Poble Nou Metro Station is a 10-minute walk from the Hesperia.84 Rooms!

The staff at this hotel were outstanding. They were warm, welcoming and always willing to go the extra mile to help their guests. I'm especially grateful for their help in searching for and locating the taxi in which I had lost my glasses during my journey to the airport. Many thanks.

I did not enjoy my stay at the Hesperia Barcelona Del Mar. The air conditioner was ineffective and the rooms needed a major refresh. Unfortunately the tiny double bed was incredibly uncomfortable, making it feel more like sleeping on concrete. For the asking price, I expected more in terms of comfort and amenities. All in all, it was a terrible experience and we ended up checking out after one night instead of the seven days we'd booked for. There are plenty of better places to stay in the area, and I won't be returning.

I recently stayed at the Hesperia Barcelona Del Mar and it was simply wonderful. The room was spacious, comfortable and squeaky clean. The beds and pillows were really luxurious and I slept really well during my stay. The staff at the front desk were courteous, however they sometimes take some time to pick up the phone, especially at night. The hotel needs a concierge to help tourists with information about restaurants, travel info etc. The breakfast ended too early at 10am, but the location was perfect, with restaurants and the beach close by and very close from the Ramblas of Poblenou. The only downside was that there was only one phone charging station in the room which would have been better if it was located next to the bed. All in all, it was a great stay!

Room was clean and spacious and the staff were helpful when we reported a clogged sink. However, we found the decor and fixtures slightly dated. Unfortunately, the hotel did not include breakfast and while they had a coffee machine, the cost was too expensive at 2€ per cup. Generally, 4 star hotels offer complimentary coffee so this was slightly disappointing.

The location couldn't be better - right on the beachfront overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. I absolutely loved the laid back vibe and the friendly staff. Everyone there was extremely helpful and attentive. From the check-in to the room service staff, they made sure to meet our needs and make our stay as pleasant as possible. The room was well decorated and clean, plus the views of the ocean from the balcony were incredible. All in all, Hesperia Barcelona Del Mar was an excellent hotel. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant and comfortable stay.
