Location-wise, this hotel is ?. We took a room on the 15th floor and had an absolutely breathtaking view of the city. ?? Staff is very friendly and professional. The only downside is the fact that there isn't really an outdoor area, and the bar area isn't particularly cozy or inviting. ?♂️ Breakfast was good and coffee was ?.
This hotel claims to be 4 star, but it does not meet those standards. We had a superior room for over 300$ per night, and this did not include breakfast, which was similar to a motel breakfast in the US and cost €18. We noticed this hotel was advertising rooms for only €200 after we had checked in, which we were surprised to learn. There are some points to consider: the beds were awful, but the maid service was good. The room service for breakfast was also poor, as we ordered coffee, received tea, and there was no silverware for the scrambled eggs or tea-stirring. The neighborhood is great, the shower is fabulous, and the staff at the front desk were very friendly. At €200 per night it is an okay hotel, three stars at best.
Stayed at a fantastic hotel near the cruise port before setting off for my trip. The room was spotless ?, the shower had great pressure and hot water ?, and check-in was smooth and friendly ?. Although breakfast wasn't included, there were lots of nearby bakeries ? serving up delicious coffee and pastries ?!
I had a wonderful stay at the Hesperia Barcelona Presidente Hotel. The location of the hotel is great and the staff, Albert, Esmeralda and Alex were incredibly welcoming and accommodating to all our queries. The hotel itself is very nice and I highly recommend it. Although the hotel is currently undergoing an upgrade, some of the rooms are of a higher quality than others. But, the size of the rooms are very generous.
I must admit that I was a bit let down by this hotel. For the cost, I was expecting more. We had booked a twin room and were given a room with two beds pushed right next to each other, with an open plan bathroom and sliding glass door to the toilet. Definitely not ideal for a business trip, but might be alright for a romantic break. That said, I must give credit where credit is due - the staff and breakfast were excellent. All in all, I'd give this place three stars.
