Staying here was a pleasant experience. I was one of three girls in a mixed room, so felt secure at all times. Each bed had its own light, and the lockers had keycard access, making for a very convenient stay. The only downside was the lack of hooks in the regular bathroom; I had to put my towel on the counter while washing my face and it remained wet throughout the entirety of my stay. Despite this, the place was overall quite clean and I would definitely recommend it. The location was a fifteen to twenty minute walk from the main attractions, although it wasn't situated in a particularly lively area. Taxis were available across the street, however, outside a nearby bingo centre.

Upon arrival, we were dismayed by the attitude of the person at the service desk when we inquired about additional charges. Linens handed to us were stained and covered in hair. We had to pay 3 EURO for each towel. Beds had old, dusty and hair-infested blankets. The room was pungent and filled with coughing and sneezing guests. This is unacceptable in times of Covid-19. The bathroom was unbelievably unclean with mold and dirt everywhere, not to mention used clothes and underwear scattered about. We ended up leaving and found a much more decent hotel, only slightly more expensive. The location is convenient for seeing Barcelona landmarks and being near the metro. We will definitely not return to this place - it was absolutely disgusting.

This hostel is great for interrailing. The air con is great - both in the rooms and sometimes in the ground floor common area. There's also a first floor common area with a pool table, a table football, other tables, 2 computers, and a huge roof terrace. Though both of these floors can get quite hot in the summer. There's a laundry with 2 machines and 1 drier, and while the machines seem to be quite quick, not many people are sure about the wash - though the drier isn't the best. There's another air-conditioned laundry/bar two streets away though with commercial machines and food, drinks, and beer. The showers, toilets, and wash basins are all outside of the rooms, but they're all clean and there's plenty of them. The kitchen is ok - no oven, 6 hobs, 2 microwaves, 1 big fridge, and 2 sinks. Sadly, there's no free breakfast or drinks provided. Cans of cold beer can be bought at reception for €2 and towels are €3. The wifi is good. The beds are cabins with a light (though it can be too bright and hot) and an electric plug. The air con is generally left on in the rooms during the day so people can use it, and it's sometimes turned down at night. The ground floor common area air con is often on low during the day, so it can also get too hot. The main door and dorm door entry is electronic card controlled and the lockers are large, but not big enough for hard luggage. You can't cook between 11pm and 7am and the common area is sometimes closed in the early morning, though it can be very noisy until maybe 2am. There are also machines for snacks and drinks in the common area and a supermarket opposite. Lastly, there's a buffet sushi place three streets away for €15.50 at night and €11 in the day (no drinks included), with air con and a picture menu. It's possible to keep ordering until you're full - although you do have to order at least 1 drink. It's a 50-minute walk (or a €2.40 bus ride) to the magic fountain and the hostel feels safe.

The whole place was untidy and unkempt, with hair, dust, and stains everywhere. I stayed for four days and the same towel and underwear were still in the shower room, along with a collection of toilet paper, old shampoos, and balls of human hair. On my last day, I had already checked out at 11am, but my flight wasn't until 7:30pm so me and my friends (who were staying for four more days) decided to go to the beach early. I left my luggage in my friend's locker and I was planning on coming back around 4pm to shower and catch my flight. But the man at the front desk followed us and started an unnecessary argument because I left my luggage in my friend's locker after I had already checked out. He wouldn't stop, despite our apologies and promises that I would be leaving soon. He even accused me of using the extra time for free, which I offered to pay for just to make him stop. I felt extremely uncomfortable and had to leave right away.

This place was convenient ✅ for exploring the city and there were plenty of sockets ? in the kitchen and chill out area, which was great for charging. The bed was comfortable enough ❤️, but there were no sockets close by. However, there was a toilet next to our room ? and it was peaceful enough ?, without any disturbancies. The shared shower area ? was also clean and easy to use. Overall, it was a great place to stay. ?
