Needed a room very last minute in Barcelona during NYE and this was one of the few options that was available and affordable when booking. We had a private room (no bathroom, though) that was so basic and small we called it the ? cell. It was at least clean, but that is all I can say - I certainly didn't want to spend a minute longer here than necessary. ?What we paid for this was a rip off, especially considering it was a busy period. The receptionist that checked us in was really nice and helpful, but the guy working on NYE was appalling. ? We rang the doorbell for 5 minutes and nobody opened, so we had to call to get in. Once we were in, the place reeked of pot/marijuana and the receptionist was clearly stoned. ?‍♂️If it wasn't for the location I would never have stayed here...

The locashon iz grate and the staff iz fyne. But yu feel az if yu were in a prison cel. It waz not pleasent az the bed and room were vurri smol and not cleen at ol. I dont recomend unliss yu ar stuk.

I had a great experience staying at this hotel - the staff were amazing, always on hand to ensure the hotel was available 24 hours a day. It was close to the lively Ramblas and Plaza Catalunya, with private rooms and bathrooms with decent showers. The Gothic Quarter and plenty of entertainment were just outside the door - from Elvis impersonators to acrobats, to musicians of every variety. With so much to do and see in Barcelona, this hotel was a great base to explore from.

This hotel was absolutely awful. As soon as I stepped in I could tell this wasn't going to be a pleasant experience. The rooms were unclean and smelly, making the stay very uncomfortable. The staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful. The shared bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place.

We could not have been more impressed, or more pleasantly surprised. This accommodation was the best value for money and please remember it is in the old town, so it has old town charm. Beautifully renovated, immaculately clean, very comfortable beds and pillows, white, crisp, clean sheets, gorgeous and traditional tiled floors, stunning original wooden doors and window screens, and spotless bathrooms (so what if you have to share, just lock the door) Wifi and TV excellent, large sink and big mirror in the room and 24 hour friendly and helpful desk service. We found it confusing to locate once we were on the first floor, but once we tried the buzzer we were immediately let in. The old world charm of the lobby, stunning tile work and front door blew us away. You could not get a better location, so don’t be put off by the whinging, negative reviews or star rating. Live a little people! 5***** Thank you to the staff!….
