This was one of my worst experiences ever! As soon as I entered the building, an unpleasant odor filled the air, becoming even worse in the rooms and bathrooms. It seemed that no cleaning routine was ever followed. The blanket was left in the dusty corner of the wardrobe. Moreover, hot water was not always available in the shower. We decided to check out the next day and book a different accommodation. I'd definitely avoid this place if I were you!

The room we got at this hotel was absolutely revolting. There were spots that looked like old blood stains on the walls and pillowcases, and the bed had dark hairs on it. The walls were yellowish instead of white, like they hadn't been painted in years. The towels were far from white, and one of them even had a hole in it. To make sure we were able to sleep safely and hygienically, we ended up going to the store and buying new bedsheets the next day.

I stayed a hotel located right on the Las Ramblas which offered airconditioning in the room and surprisingly, no external noise (despite my room having no window). Although located centrally, the area was of the least salubrious variety. The staff were unfriendly and it was difficult to find a language they were coherent in. The entrance was not particularly inviting and the shared shower and toilet were far from satisfactory – one of the doors in the cubicle was stuck because of mould and the cubicle was the size of a coffin. Additionally, there was considerable noise from other rooms and from reception late at night. All in all, it was far from enjoyable and a reminder of how some places can feel.

Booking and check in at 01:00 in the night was without a proplem (-:. I had a room not to "Las Ramblas" but to the bakc side. There was also a smal strete. Noice (with earpluge OK). Price: Private room was 67 EUR. It was an emegency night due to missed trains, and Barcelona is expencive, so is this hostel, and that I find negitive.

This property is the only one without a cancellation policy. The quality of service was horrible. I had to postpone my trip due to a medical emergency and made dozens of phone calls, but only got through once and was then asked to submit an email. There was no response. After following up, I had to go through booking.com trying to get a response from the property. They rejected any kind of cancellation and kept the money. Even though this was not close to the travel date, I provided the proper documentation and continuously reached out to their establishment, but got no service. Booking.com should seriously consider taking this property off their website, since the level of service is absolutely poor. Rating 1 star is generous.
