We had a great experience at our first stop in Spain. The staff were welcoming and accommodating when we ran into a mix-up with our reservation dates. We felt comfortable in our room, which was modern and spotlessly clean - with speedy wifi, hot showers and comfortable beds. The location was also ideal - it was easy to catch the Aerobus from the airport and get around the city. The hotel is reducing their environmental impact and this was appreciated. We would suggest giving more information about what can be recycled instead of put in the garbage. Also, it would be great to have cold drinking water/ice available in the hot climate.

This place was great! The accommodation is very spacious and modern, and it was very clean. The staff were really friendly too. It's only a short walk from Las Ramblas, and it's only a couple of kilometres away from the beach and the Gothic area, which are both great for eating out. Do bear in mind that the restaurants around Las Ramblas might not be the best - they tend to be more geared towards tourists looking for fast food. If you want quality food and drink, you'll need to go to the Gothic or somewhere beyond Las Ramblas. All in all, it's in a great location, you'll just need to walk a bit further for a good meal.

We had a great experience staying at this hotel in Barcelona. Its convenient location meant it was easy to access all the attractions and other amenities near by. The room we were in was on the 4th floor and was both pristine and quiet, making it a pleasant place to stay. Additionally, the helpful staff members went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Not only was the metro station just 3 minutes away, but you could find food, markets, and even mobile phone equipment nearby.

It is essential to make sure that any agreement is in writing when dealing with reception staff. We had an unfortunate experience on our extended stay, with three different members of staff unable to confirm what had been promised. Initially they told us the extra night would cost 80€, but when we were due to check out they phoned to say they had no information. They then said the fee would be 122€ with a discount, but when the time came to leave the bill was over 160€. We have learned our lesson and will be sure to get everything in writing in future! The receptionist also warned us that the area was not safe at night, and on further inspection this was undeniably true. There was a large number of people around during the day and evening and it felt quite intimidating. I would recommend choosing somewhere in a calmer area even though it may be slightly further away. In addition, there was a bug in the reception area that looked like a roach, though it remains unconfirmed. Furthermore, the air con was shut off at the main switch and we were unable to turn it on. The room was very clean and comfortable apart from the fact that our towels weren’t changed once during our stay. We were very disappointed to leave with such a negative impression of the customer service as we had no other issues during our stay.
