Hostal Petit Príncep

This accommodation is situated on a main shopping street. It has plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops in the vicinity and it is a very active, noisy area. The staff were friendly and our room and bathroom were both spacious and comfortable. We had a balcony too, which overlooked the inner courtyard of the building but it was still a nice feature. The hotel recommended a car park nearby and you get a competitive rate. It would be wise to call in advance for directions to the car park as finding a space to unload luggage can be tricky. The bus station and metro station are both very close by.

Stayed at a cozy room right off Diagonal Avenue. ? It was in a good location and very quiet. ? Wifi wasn't the best, but other than that no issues. ? Lots of great bars and restaurants nearby, plus this yummy bakery for breakfast. ??? Definitely worth a visit. ?

This hotel is conveniently located off Diagonal Avenue. Travellers should note that the closest metro station is about 10 to 15 minutes of walking away. However, there is a nearby bus stop that can take you there in 2 stops. We were warmly welcomed by the reception who even offered us an airport transfer ahead of our arrival. The bedroom was comfortable and clean, with a private bathroom. Unfortunately, there was a bit of noise when the neighbour was entering or leaving and water streaming sounds. Overall, the price is commensurate with the quality of the hotel, so I would rate it 10/10!

Location wise, this place is well connected and great for shopping. The receptionists are friendly and nice. However, be aware of the noise during the night. There's an unpleasant smell in the corridor too. The cleaning service could use some upgrades. The room is small, but having shelves in the bathroom and shower could be helpful. Maintenance is recommended too, due to spots on the walls and stains on the curtains. Prices may be lower than average but, given the overall experience, I would expect to pay less. I hope this review can be taken as constructive feedback.

Stayed here in late June for 3 nights. Had a twin room facing the street, and it was nice and bright with great double glazing which blocked the traffic noise. Room was cleaned when requested. Small water stains on the ceiling, but the price was worth it. Could hear the people in the next room, but it quietened when hinted! Receptionist was extremely helpful. The location was great too - there was a bus stop just around the corner that went to Las Ramblas, and the subway was a 10-minute walk away. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay here again. Tip, take the bus outside to the university, then the subway straight to the airport.
