My recent weekend stay at a hotel in Barcelona left me with mixed feelings. While the room had the necessary essentials, it was quite basic. The balconies provided a view of the lively crossroads outside, which made for some interesting people-watching. However, the fixtures and fittings in the room were not up to par, especially the hairdryer socket in the bathroom which seemed to be on the verge of breaking. Despite this, the hotel was conveniently located near great restaurants and bars, and it was within walking distance of the main shopping area.
My wife and I had an unforgettable experience! The accommodation was spotless and featured a wonderful balcony. The host was particularly accommodating and provided outstanding assistance. Highly recommend.
The location of this great hotel was really convenient; there were several metro stations close by and it was easy to go sightseeing or to the airport by bus. Not only was it in a great spot, but the hotel itself was small but worth the price. One downside was that the shower ran out of hot water on Sunday and the hotel wasn't able to fix it as the technician didn't work on Sundays. This meant that we had to take a quick cold shower in the middle of winter. Hopefully, the hotel will be able to improve their emergency services in future.
This was the worst accommodation I've ever stayed at. The room I booked was too small for my bag, so I had to book another one, which was a bit bigger but just as dirty. The toilet was disgusting and clearly hadn't been cleaned. There was hair in the shower and the bedsheets had very suspicious stains. The hair dryer wasn't safe to use and the room lacked lights and windows. I was misled by the pictures and reviews before booking, and nothing I saw was accurate. Please, whatever you do, avoid this place! It's simply unbelievable.
I stayed at this hotel and it was a great experience. The rooms were comfortable and the location was very convenient. The price was great compared to other hotels in the area. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spotless. Plus, they allowed us to drop off and pick up our luggage before/after check-in/check-out.
