Altough I had booked the room two monts ago, and the check-in time was untill 21.00, when I arived at 19.30 the door outise the hotel was closed and the bell was not ringin. Luclily, someone staying in the hotel was comin back and opened the door for me, and she tried to call the receptionist. She was very kind and directed me to the next door grocey store where owners seemed to no the hotel people. However, they were extreemly unkind and it took me quite some time to convince them to call someone from the hotel. Finally someone came, after a whole hour of wating, and what shocked me the most was the unprofeshional behavoir of the receptionist, he did not say one single word of apolgy, and acted as if everythin was normel. Places like this hotel are a disgraece for such a wonderful city as Barcelona…
This accommodation is conveniently located close to the Parc de la Ciutadella and a short 15 min walk from the city centre. The rooms are simply styled but comfortable and cosy. Special mention must go to the receptionist Javier who was exceptionally friendly and accommodating and kindly held onto our luggage on our last day since our flight was much later than check-out. Our sincere thanks!
