This was an amazing stay! The location is unbeatable, right in front of Port Vell and in the heart of Barceloneta. The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, with a wonderful view of the harbor area. Breakfast was served daily in the lobby and included a variety of delicious options. The hotel has easy access to a great selection of restaurants and bars, and just a few steps away is one of Barcelona's best seafood restaurants: El rey del gambas. All in all, great value for the location and a wonderful place to stay. Highly recommended!
We saw rodents in the lobby and our room, when we pointed it out to staff they 'sprayed' the room and then came back in 30 mins to check it was 'gone' - it wasn't! So we checked out after one night and were lucky to be able to get a refund for the remainder of our stay.
I stayed at Hotel 54 Barceloneta for a short two night stay and was pleasantly surprised. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we stepped in and the hotel was conveniently located near the beach. Although the building was quite old, the room we had was well kept and very clean. We found no evidence of rodents and the toilet flushed without any problems. The hot water came quickly and the sink was tidy and unbroken. I was especially pleased with the complimentary breakfast, which had a delicious assortment of food and drinks. All in all, our stay was comfortable and enjoyable and I would highly recommend it to other travelers.

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel 54 and would definitely recommend it to others looking for a budget-friendly option in Barcelona. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was clean and comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. The hotel's location is also excellent, just a short walk from many of Barcelona's main attractions. Definitely worth considering if you're looking for a good value option in this wonderful city.
