Hotel Alimara

I recently stayed at a hotel in Barcelona and the experience was a mixture of emotions. The property itself was nice and clean and they had everything I needed ?️ ? ?. However, when I was at the check out and was told that I'd have to pay 31€ for two nights parking, when I hadn't even used the hotel mini bar ??, I felt pretty frustrated. After explaining the situation and being ignored, I was even more upset when the manager called the police ? ?. In the end I paid but it was an unnecessary and uncomfortable experience. ☹️ ? ?‍♀️

I recently stayed in a hotel for two nights and I was not disappointed. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. There was plenty of breakfast options with a full spread and food was always replenished when it was gone. The staff’s service was exemplary and I had a very pleasant stay.

As a tourist we are expected to have some moments of leisure, but sadly this hotel could not provide that.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend this Hotel Alimara to anyone. I felt like I was in a cage due to the internet issue and the lack of a proper television. The food was also not so great and was quite limited. The pillow was just okay but nothing extraordinary. I would never come back here again, it was just an awful experience.

The rooms at Hotel Alimara were sub-par - they were outdated and pretty small. Breakfast was mediocre and service was mediocre at times. On top of that, the hotel has a night club that operates Friday and Saturday night. As a result, we could not get a good night's sleep until 3am due to the music and drunk people shouting in the courtyard. When we were checking out, other guests were expressing similar sentiments and the receptionist just smiled and said "yes". This was my second worst hotel experience - the first being a construction project outside of a hotel I once stayed at. Based on my experience, I do not recommend Hotel Alimara.

My stay at the Hotel Alimara was a pleasant experience. I had the pleasure of staying in two different types of rooms, both of which were very accommodating for my 8-day stay. I particularly enjoyed my first night in the family room, which was located in a corner of the building and flooded with natural sunlight. The bathroom was particularly spacious and bright. My second room unfortunately had two single beds which wasn't as comfortable as the family room, and the bathroom fixtures were not well-fixed. Nonetheless, the staff were all very accommodating and friendly, and the hotel's location and accessibility was unbeatable. All things considered, I had an enjoyable stay here and would happily return in the future.
