The king size bed at Hotel Àmbit Barcelona was very comfortable and I really appreciated the unlimited coffee bar on the first floor. But I was less than impressed with the black-walled bathroom with yellow lights - I think it gave off a depressing vibe. For a 4-star hotel, I think it would have been nice to have been provided with bedroom slippers. I also missed a vanity kit with my toiletries. Lastly, I noticed a slight funky smell in the room, although it was faint. All in all, it was a decent stay.
My partner and I stayed for a week in Barcelona and Hotel Àmbit Barcelona was perfect for our trip. The location is central and really convenient for sightseeing; it barely took us 5 minutes to get to Plaza De Catalunya. The staff was amazing and we felt so welcome - especially Daniel, he was so friendly and always made us feel good. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet; the variety was great and the coffee was good, plus the terrace was a great place to relax and have a drink. We highly recommend this hotel and would love to stay there again.
Just got back from an amazing 3 night stay at Hotel Àmbit Barcelona. It was super easy to get there from the airport and the whole stay was absolutely great! Really clean and comfortable rooms and mine even had a tiny balcony which was great for enjoying the view. Best of all was the free 24-hour coffee! Everyone on the staff was very friendly and helpful, they even gave us tips on the local sights. It's just a 15 minute stroll to La Rambla and you're also not far from the Playa Cataluna and the metro station. I can definitely recommend this place!
