I'm so thankful for the wonderful experience I had at this hotel! Marc, Alberto, Pablo, and Enrique along with the breakfast team all gave me service that was top-notch. ??? The recommendations for nearby food places were spot-on. ?? I would stay there again in a heartbeat. ? The room wasn't too bad either--especially since I wasn't there for too long. ? The AC worked great and lots of water. ? No complaints here! ? And Enrique from the rooftop bar was absolutely amazing--just ask my wife! ? Until we meet again! ?
This hotel was in a great location close to La Pedrera and Casa Batllo, with plenty of restaurants, shops and bars nearby. We took advantage of the city tourist bus that stops right opposite La Pedrera. The staff were friendly and the buffet breakfast was plentiful with a lot of choice. The staff serving us were very friendly, and we had a great view of the square outside while eating our breakfast. The room we stayed in was high up and facing a quiet courtyard, and it was nicely cleaned and stocked with a large and comfy bed. Though it was cold outside and we had a lot of things to do, we did have a look at the nice pool and rooftop terrace, but we didn't have time for it. The only downsides to the room were that it was small and the wardrobe wasn't much bigger either. It didn't leave us with much room to hang our clothes. The sink in the bathroom was too high and the fan in the shower wasn't strong enough. Lastly, there was no milk for the tea bags supplied and it was confusing how many coffee pods we were allowed a day before being charged. Other than those minor issues we had a great time and would recommend the hotel.
I stayed at Hotel America Barcelona and it was a huge letdown. The room I got was extremely noisy, to the point that it felt like I was sleeping in the street. The staff were also quite unhelpful and downright rude. I asked for help but was told that there was nothing that could be done about it. I can't in good faith recommend this hotel and would strongly advise against staying here.
The hotel is also very easy to find, near to the train station and lots of good places to eat near by, will definitely recommend to my friends and family.
Just came back from a stay at Hotel America Barcelona and I have to say it is lovely. The beds were very comfy, the staff were absolutely fabulous and couldn't do enough to help. The street noise can be a bit loud but this is beyond the hotel's control. The aroma as you walk into the hotel was delightful and the atmosphere warm and inviting. The location is great, really convenient for the train station and lots of good eats close by. I will definitely be recommending it to my friends and family.
I stayed in Hotel America Barcelona and enjoyed my stay very much. The location is great, the rooms are spacious and tidy, and the pool and rooftop are lovely. Breakfast wasn't anything special but that's to be expected. The reception team could have been a bit friendlier but overall, it was a pleasant stay! The only downside was that the rooftop was closed during my visit, but wouldn't stop me from returning here.
