Hotel Aneto

I had an extremely pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was fantastic, with a fridge, air conditioning, a great TV and a very comfortable bed. There was plenty of storage space and plugs for charging. The ceilings were very high which made the room feel enormous. The location was just about perfect. It's around the corner from La Rambla and just down the street from Plaça de Catalunya which are the heart of the city. It's also extremely convenient for getting the airport bus which stops in the Plaza. The staff were all great, extremely friendly and talkative both in English and Spanish. The complimentary breakfast from the cafe next door was one of the best I've had from a hotel. The coffee wasn't instant or from a machine as is the case in many places, it was real barista coffee. The croissant and sandwich were clearly freshly-made. Only downsides were having to leave my key at reception everytime I left. However, in fairness, the staff usually remembered you and had the key ready for you immediately, so not a big deal, just different. My room sadly had a view of a small courtyard below. Not much they can do with the location, but would have been nice to have a room with a view, of course! Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel and hope to make a return visit.

This accommodation was great! From the cleanliness to the wonderful service, I was really impressed. The price was quite affordable for the convenient location - situated near the city and walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and attractions. The public transport connections were also nearby if I ever needed them. I would definitely come back if I revisited the area, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant stay. This hotel had a wonderful location and was kept very clean. The staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. Unfortunately, the thin walls meant that there was some noise in the mornings. Although there was a tiny elevator, it was more convenient to take the stairs. Each time a guest left the hotel, the room key had to be returned to reception - this was something that differed from most places.

Positives: The Hotel Aneto was very well located, a few steps away from La Rambla and very close to the Mercado de la Boqueria. Also there were cheap supermarkets and nice bakeries nearby. The personnel was very friendly and attentive during our stay. The room was clean, had a small balcony and the bathroom had a great shower. Negatives: The hotel could use some renovation and there was a lack of sound insulation as we could hear the people next door very clearly. The beds were comfortable, but they were two single beds and not a double bed. All in all, our stay was pleasant and the staff was very helpful.

Beds are comfortable. Room and bathroom are very clean. Had all necessary amenities including shower gel, towels, etc. AirCondition is strong. WiFi connection is stable.

Overall, I had a great stay at Hotel Aneto. The location is perfect, close to many attractions and services within walking distance. The service was efficient and friendly. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The amenities provided were very useful. The Wifi connection was stable and the Aircondition was strong. The price was also very reasonable. The only downside is they only provide breakfast from a bakery next door, which i felt can be improved. But overall, I was very happy and satisfied with my stay. I definitely recommend Hotel Aneto to anyone.
