I stayed at this hotel during the Mobile World Congress conference and paid €588 for two nights. They had a strict no cancellation, no refund policy, so I had to keep my booking. Unfortunately, Booking.com was no help in this situation. I also couldn't review the hotel on Booking.com if I had cancelled or not showed up. ? A word of warning: at the weekend, the rate is only €56 for two nights... buyer beware. ?????
Hotel Barbara was the perfect place to stay for our Barcelona trip! Its location is ideal - close to La Rambla but tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. Our room was cleaned every day and the hotel was very quiet. Everything we needed was only a short walk away, including supermarkets and La Boqueria. We were even allowed to leave our luggage until it was time to leave this amazing city. We can't thank the staff enough for making our stay so enjoyable!
My recent stay at Hotel Barbara was quite pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful and the location was convenient and relatively affordable. The only downside to our stay was the small size of the rooms, the tricky shower and the lack of noise-proofing. We were unfortunate to be confronted with extremely loud guests and were disappointed that the hotel didn't intervene. Despite this, I would still recommend this hotel, as the positives outweigh the negatives.
We stayed at Hotel Barbara for a week and it was great! The location was perfect for us, and it was very reasonably priced. The staff were all so friendly, helpful and spoke excellent English- totally attentive to our needs. The rooms were modern, fresh and spotlessly clean. We had air conditioning and our own private bathroom which had clean towels and regular cleaning throughout our stay. For what we paid, it was an absolute bargain and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
This time, I stayed at Hotel Barbara. It's definitely not a luxury hotel, but it's perfect for its price. The room was clean and comfortable, with a good bathroom and good lighting. I also felt secure: the front desk staff were very attentive about who was entering and departures, and the owner has invested in quality locks for the doors. The only thing that I was dissapointed with was that there weren't any glasses on the room. When I asked for one at the front desk, I was given a cheap paper cup. On the other hand, I liked the interesting collection of offroad motorbikes in the lobby. It would be great if they had a coffee corner in the lobby for guests to enjoy. All in all, Hotel Barbara is a great choice for budget-conscious travellers.
