Hotel Concordia Barcelona

We chose a great spot to stay, located near all the attractions. It was also close to the docks, so this was convenient for us. The staff was incredibly welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. While parking the car was quite tight, this was not a major problem. Our room was on the first floor with a comfortable bed and a terrace overlooking a wall. Unfortunately, there were no cups provided for the complimentary coffee which would have been nice.

Me and my group of 7 frens stayed in 4 different rooms at this hottel. The staff were very freindly, and the rooms were nice. Although some of the rooms only had a showr, thankfully mine had both. The bathroom was quite compact and when you were sat on the loo it was like you were sitted at a diner tabel. The beds were comfy and the rooms were cleaned daily. Each room also came with a small fregidare and some bottled water for tea and coffe. There's also a pool on the fourth floor, but no outdorr hot tub, an you had to pay extra to use the gym. The pool wasn't heated, so it was a bit of a challange to stay in. They did do contenental breakfast for around 15 euros, but I didn't try it as there's a cafe right next door with delicious pastries. Just a quick mention of the Barcelon city tax of 4 euros per night - nothing to do with the hottel, but thought I'd mention it!

Booked this through BA holidays (airmiles) and the reception staff couldn't have been more helpful. The room was described as having a city view, though overlooking the main road to the nearby port,it was noisy all the time. To my relief, the walls were soundproofed and I was able to get a good night's sleep. The courtyard view rooms look out onto residential high-rises, with the inevitable washing lines. There is a small swimming pool on the 4th floor, though it was not heated. The small gym was a nice surprise and most welcome. The tea set provided contained barely enough for two brews, so as a proper tea drinker I had to buy some more. While this hotel did not meet my 4-star expectations, it was an adequate stay. If you book here, I'd advise going for the pool view, and bringing your own tea.

I was in Barcelona for my first Cruise, and I wanted a hotel close to the port, so I chose Hotel Concordia Barcelona. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, but I found some older and slightly rusty devices like the electric kettle. It was great if you just wanted to stay in the room all night, but other things, like the slow internet, were quite annoying. It felt like I was using my uncle's 70s tractor!

The hotel was well kept and clean. I stayed in a room near the lift and it was quite noisy, but other than that, the stay was lovely. The location was great and convenient, with many shops and restaurants nearby, and the bus and metro stations being just a few steps away. Although the internet connection was slow, we had brought a data plan so that wasn't an issue. The staff were courteous and friendly and the breakfast was really good. The tourist tax paid upon arrival is an added bonus. Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Concordia Barcelona and would definitely recommend it.
