The staff at this hotel were very helpful. The room was small but surprisingly comfortable. No window but that was okay as I didn't mind being removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. The mattress was really good - such a pleasure to sleep in after long days of sightseeing. The water pressure was ideal for a hot shower. All in all, the hotel is a great option for a short stay. It's centrally located, clean and comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a base in Barcelona and I would stay here again.
I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel El Call twice recently and I had a wonderful experience both times. On both occasions, the staff were absolutely delightful. Everyone was kind and accommodating, but the two receptionists who checked me in were particularly helpful and courteous. The rooms were spacious, clean and relatively quiet. The location was ideal and the prices were very reasonable. The reception was open 24/7 which was handy for those late night check-ins. As a female travelling alone, I felt incredibly safe at the hotel which was a huge relief. When I had to check out, the staff allowed me to leave my luggage for an indefinite amount of time - which was a very appreciated gesture. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Hotel El Call again and would definitely recommend it to others.
It was a bit strange. But overall it was a quite comfortable stay.
I had a pleasant stay at Hotel El Call. The safe environment and 24 hour reception were huge bonuses and I felt very secure. It's right in the center of town and very close to the main attractions. The noise level is quite noticeable though, so if you're a light sleeper then I'd suggest bringing earplugs or asking for a room away from the street. I requested a room with a window but ended up staying in a room with a frosted glass square instead. It wasn't ideal, but it was still quite comfortable. I'd still recommend this hotel for its great location and security.
