Just returned from a 4-night stay at Hotel Gran Derby Suites and I must say it was a pleasant experience overall. The room was comfortable and well appointed, however it did have some noise originating from the room next door. Staff were polite and accommodating, and the pool was a great place to relax and cool off after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast wasn't 4-star quality, but was still enjoyable. Room service was prompt, however the food was slightly cold upon arrival. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a luxurious stay in the area.
I recently stayed at Hotel Gran Derby Suites, a Small Luxury Hotel of the World. It was a great stay. The rooms were nicely appointed and the beds were comfortable. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast buffet in the morning was delicious. The location of the hotel was convenient with nearby restaurants and stores. The biggest downside of the hotel was that the size of the refrigerator was quite small, which was inconvenient for lengthy stays. Other than this, everything else was perfect. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a luxury hotel experience with all the amenities and services.
The room was ok but it had a drain issue with the shower. The reception staff were really helpful in providing us a different room late at night. Although it was a step down from the original room it was still acceptable. What I was very disappointed about was that Booking.com failed to mention that the 'restaurant/bar' was actually just room service. If I'd known that prior I wouldn't have booked. Overall I was satisfied but not overly impressed.

The location was perfect for me, as it was close to many attractions and restaurants. The room was luxurious, very comfortable and had everything I needed. Breakfast at the hotel was top-notch, with a wide variety of options to choose from. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great experience!
I stayed at the Hotel Gran Derby Suites for 3 nights and I have to say that the service, cleanliness, and comfort were all impeccable. The hotel is located in a great spot for exploring Barcelona. Be prepared to walk if you want to see everything, but it is definitely worth it! I would recommend getting tickets for the hop-on hop-off bus tour before you go.
