I have to say, my stay at Hotel Inglés was quite disappointing. Check-in was good and the air conditioning worked fine. The real downside was the room; it was far from comfortable and of poor quality. The female receptionist was unhelpful and unsympathetic when I reported the lack of hot water. Plus, I was unfortunately awoken each night by neighboring guests being ill. It's a shame, as the location of the hotel is otherwise great.
The breakfast buffet had a really nice selection and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Inglés and would recommend it for anyone looking for a reasonably-priced option in a great location.
My husband and I visited Hotel Inglés for our 25th wedding anniversary. We were looking for a reasonably-priced option in the downtown area and Hotel Inglés definitely delivered. The location was perfect, in walking distance to many top attractions and Liceu metro station. The room was modern and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a double room, equipped with everything we needed. The restaurant was really nice and the breakfast buffet offered plenty of choice. The elevator was a big plus for us as my husband has mobility difficulties. We had no problems during our stay and enjoyed it very much. I would highly recommend Hotel Inglés for anyone looking for a good value and great location in the city.
This was my second time staying at Hotel Inglés and it was even better than the first. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and well taken care of. The hotel is located in a great area, just a short walk from the harbour and lots of other attractions. The area is filled with delicious restaurants, pubs and cafes, so there's plenty to do right on the doorstep. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the beds are super comfy! What's more, if you ask for a room at the back, you get a quiet night's sleep without the distraction of any busy streets. All in all, it was a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend this hotel.
