Hotel Paseo de Gracia

I highly recommend this hotel especially to first time travelers. It is strategically located in the centre of Barcelona. Metro station is just right across the street and it's easy to hail a cab too. It's less than 2 minutes' walk to Casa Mila, about 8-10 minutes' walk to Casa Batllo, less than 15 minutes' walk to La Rambla and Placa Catalunya. If you opt to use the metro, Sagrada Familia cathedral is just 2 stops away. It has modern rooms, very spacious, quiet, well lit and comfortable beds. I got the family room for me, my husband and our 11 year old daughter. Main entrance can be accessed until 11pm only (no front desk on duty), but they will give you instructions on how to get in the property. Believe me, it was easy and very convenient. There are actually 2 hotels in the area with almost the same name, so to avoid confusion, this one has YSL and Stella McCartney by the entrance of the hotel. Front signage reads "Hotel Po de Gracia"....

I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Paseo de Gracia in Barcelona and it was an amazing experience. The location was perfect, situated right in the heart of the city, surrounded by a great variety of restaurants. The hotel was incredibly clean and comfortable - my room was very spacious and had all the amenities I needed. But the highlight of my stay was the gentleman at the front desk who was incredibly helpful, providing me with tips on the best places to eat and the quickest way to get around the city. I have already booked my stay at the same hotel for my upcoming visit in October and I know I will have another fantastic stay.

Our first time in Barcelona and we are staying at a lovely place. The rooms are clean and modern. The breakfast is excellent and the staff are so friendly. We have stayed in many hotels, and this one is definitely one of the best. Highly recommend it when visiting Barcelona. Many thanks to the friendly staff. We will be coming back.

The location of Hotel Paseo de Gracia is unbeatable, right in the city center, however this is where the positives end. The reception staff left much to be desired, unhelpful and inconsiderate when our room was delayed; the pool top bar was okay but it lacked a shaded area. On the other hand, the restaurant staff were friendly and always ready to help, as well as the porter who carried our luggage. The room was average but the bed was too hard and the lights kept tripping out. The reception area was too small and lacked comfortable seats. It's surprising that Silverseas still puts its passengers here when H10 Metropolitan is a far better option, only 70 meters away. All in all, We would not recommend this hotel and will not stay here again.

We had a wonderful visit at Hotel Paseo de Gracia. It was positioned perfectly for our sightseeing plans in downtown Barcelona. Check-in was hassle-free and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The continental breakfast was delicious and gave us the perfect energy boost for our days of exploring. We had a fantastic short stay and thank the hotel for a great experience.
