Hotel Raval House

I was a bit anxious when I booked this accommodation as I had read numerous reviews that were not very praising. However, I was pleasantly surprised! I'm awarding this hotel five stars because of its excellent value for money and its convenient location. My friend and I went on the trip together and the area wasn't the nicest but we never once felt unsafe. The staff were friendly and the rooftop pool was lovely. We had a really positive experience overall. Our room, 407, was at the back of the hotel so we weren't troubled by any noise at all.

I found Hotel Raval House to be clean and spacious, although it's located in a bit of a dingy area. Unfortunately, there is no refrigerator or coffee station, which is a bit of a letdown. The breakfast was fine and I did notice a bit of noise from the street at night- but if you're not too fussy,go for it!

Room was spacious and cleanliness was great. Breakfast was decent with a variety of options. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful at reception, always able to answer any questions and concerns. There was a bouncer on the door at night, which provided an extra level of security as the area around the hotel could be a bit skeezy. The solarium and swimming pool were great but there weren’t many places to sit around it. 4/5 stars as there was no fridge, the shower head was broken and the bed was two singles pushed together instead of a double. However, all in all it was a great place to stay and excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed at Hotel Raval House for 3 nights and couldn't have been happier with the accommodation. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome and helpful staff put us at ease. They efficiently sorted a mix-up with our room numbers and made sure to keep the doors secure around the clock. Our room was spotless and spacious, and had everything we needed. The air conditioning wasn't working the first night, but after we spoke with reception, this was swiftly fixed. The hotel's location was ideal too – 5 minutes to Las Ramblas, 15 minutes to the El Born area, that's bursting with restaurants, cafes, bars and independent stores. The breakfast was excellent too; offering a wide selection of delicious dishes. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and without hesitation, recommend this hotel.

The Hotel Raval House is an excellent choice for a stay in Barcelona. The location is superb - just a short distance from the iconic Las Ramblas, and the price was great considering its location. The rooms were clean and airy, with a comfortable bed and a very nice bathroom - the only downside was that they were a bit sparse and clinical. Breakfast was included and it was plentiful and warm. The hotel features a rooftop pool and I was lucky enough to get a room with a balcony - sadly I didn’t have time to use the pool, but I would love to come back to this wonderful city and stay at the Hotel Raval House again.
