We really enjoyed our five night stay at this hotel and would Highly recommend it to anyone. That’s why I’m taking time in writing this review. This property has a nice ambiance and modern decor. Our room was ready early and the sofa bed was already set up for our 8y son to sleep in. The rooms were comfortably big and the bathroom was speciously large. The hotel staff were very kind and friendly. The breakfast was really good - we enjoyed having breakfast there before our daily excursions and were fans of the Nutella filled donut-holes. In terms of location, you couldn’t get much better! The street the hotel is on is quiet and it has a taxi station right in front. Plus, two Metro stations are just one block away, giving you access to three Metro lines. On top of that, most of Barcelona’s highlights and restaurants are within walking distance. I also have to mention that the AC worked wonderful. Our room was so nice and cool, it was a joy to come back after spending the day out in Barcelona’s summer heat.
I recently stayed at a hotel for three nights late April 2023. It was situated in an ideal location, close to shopping, dining, the metro, bus stops, and cab stands - all of which was quite convenient. The rooms were quite large and immaculately clean. I had a few shirts which I needed cleaning and ironing, which I received back 8 hours after delivery - the service I received was outstanding! The staff members at the hotel's reception desk were exceptionally friendly. The elevator is quite old, slow, and small, so I recommend taking the stairs if you're in a hurry or looking to get some exercise as part of your daily routine. I opted out of the breakfast buffet as I wanted to experience the local café culture.
This hotel has a great location, smack dab between La Rambla and Passieg de Graçia, and around the corner from the metro, making it easy to explore! The building is well kept and nicely decorated, as it dates back to 1917 so has a lot of charm, but is also nicely renovated. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming. The room was much larger than expected, particularly for a European hotel. Sadly, towards the end of our stay, issues such as being locked out of our room and a surprise city tax fee began to taint our experience. We were given incorrect keys three times, had to wait for maintenance to come and replace the entire electronic lock system on our door, and paid the city tax without knowing about the fee until the morning of check out. We also felt that the staff member was not accommodating and had a defiant response when we suggested that they should mention the city tax when guests begin their stay. I would've recommended this hotel initially, however due to our final impressions, I suggest looking elsewhere.
The spot is unbeatable. This cozy accommodation and the helpful staff made it a great stay. We could easily reach almost every destination on foot, and our safety was never at stake. We'd love to stay here again without hesitation.
