The stay at Hotel Santa Marta was great. I had a double room which was a bit small but comfortable nonetheless. The air conditioning worked well and the control was on the wall which was a bit of a nuisance since it was hard to reach from the bed. The temperature control oddly didn't do anything. But the best part was the shower pressure, it was so good! The staff were exceedingly helpful and friendly. All in all, it was a great stay.
I stayed at Hotel Santa Marta for 4 days and it was perfect. The location is ideal - close to the beach, a number of restaurants and the Metro station. The room was small, but it was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast selection was great and the free WiFi was an added bonus. Air conditioning and lift made the stay even more comfortable. It definitely felt more like a 3-star hotel and the price definitely made it a great value. Highly recommended for a great stay in Barcelona!
I stayed at Hotel Santa Marta recently and it was a great experience. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city, equidistant between the beach and Las Ramblas, near the train/metro links and within walking distance of the Gothic Quarter and El Born. The rooms were spotless and modern, with good air conditioning and Wi-Fi, even on the 5th floor. The staff were helpful and friendly and the hotel itself was very well maintained. I would definitely stay there again and I highly recommend it.
I was very pleased with my stay at Hotel Santa Marta. It was conveniently located close to the sea and yet far enough away from the touristy parts of the city. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and always willing to help with any inquiry. The room was simply furnished but spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfasts were great, with a good variety of both hot and cold dishes, as well as a great selection of hot and cold drinks. Overall, I had a great stay and I'm sure to come back for future trips to Barcelona.
