This hotel provided a great experience! The room was immaculate and comfortable, and the location was perfect. The reception staff were outstanding - they were friendly and so knowledgeable about the local area. Mariana and Malenha deserve special recognition for their top-notch hospitality. We would highly recommend staying here.

This hotel is situated right in the heart of the city, a stone's throw away from la Rambla. Our room was spotless and we were really impressed by the sumptuous breakfast buffet that was crammed with delicious dishes. We'd definitely return for another stay.

Before boarding our cruise ship in Barcelona, we booked a 2-night stay at this accommodation. Our flight arrived at BCN around 10am and our awaiting taxi had us at the lodging around 11:30. Without assigning any fault to anyone, according to this 70-room, almost boutique hotel, check-in time was 3:00 pm and we spent 1-2 hours in the lobby asleep on our luggage. The staff was extremely courteous and affable, and due to a further delay in our room acquisition, we were upgraded to a king bedroom and had the buffet breakfast (14 euros) extended to us gratis. A variety of coffee, pastries and confectionary are available at all times without charge. I would recommend the latte! The accommodation is located about a 5-10 minute walk to the Christopher Columbus monument and Montjuic. From there, you can stroll along the waterfront boardwalk and experience beautiful architecture, a high-speed train station, botanical gardens, the Arc de Triumph, then we went on to the Sagrada Familia, to the Placa de Catalunya, and to the world-famous Las Ramblas. In all, we walked about 10 miles in thorough enjoyment and awe. Barcelona is a gorgeous city; and, if you have a cruise embarking from its cruise port, I would highly recommend this place.

This was going to be 3 stars until we discovered we were covered in bed bug bites from the accommodation. Stayed here for 3 nights with my partner and had a few minor issues we were willing to overlook but bed bugs crossed the line. First minor issue: we were checked in to the wrong room when we arrived and charged an extra €120 as a result (outstanding accommodation fee we found out after even though we had fully paid before we arrived, but we were told at the desk it was a tax. My partner spent the first hour of our visit trying to figure this out). It took 3 days to get this back and, while trying to sort it out at reception after we realised, the staff were not very apologetic. Other very minor things: there is no fridge in the room, we got a 1L bottle of water when we arrived which was never replaced (inconvenient as you cannot drink the tap water in Barcelona so we had to buy our own). The shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom is very obviously watered down. The duvet the first night was two sheets with the actual duvet in between with no cover. We weren’t sure if this was actually washed between use or just the sheets but after the bites I’m assuming not. The second duvet was just two sheets with no duvet. The cleaner also reorganised our stuff while we were out and threw out water bottles we had bought ourselves which had water in them. Our key cards also stopped working and they lock the door off the streets at around 5 / 6pm so we couldn’t get in until we got the woman’s attention who was sitting a way behind the reception desk with half her back turned. As this was a 3 star accommodation we did not really expect much and as I said were very willing to overlook all of this as the location is very convenient, the room had air conditioning and we were not street facing so it was quiet. However, we were travelling after this and being covered neck to waist in small red lumps while wearing string tops / shorts was quite embarrassing and inconvenient. We emailed the accommodation on the 26th August after we checked out and have received no response. Unless you are absolutely desperate to stay in a hotel in Barcelona I cannot recommend this place at all. We could not wait to leave.

I am here right now, and writing about my experience because it's 2am and I'm still awake. The noise outside my window is unbearable, it's the second night in a row that there has been a concert going on. It starts at 10:30 pm and goes until 4am. I've had a total of two hours of sleep in two days. When I asked if I could be moved, reception said no because everything was booked up. There's no soundproofing at all - even though everything else was great. Clean room, comfy bed, friendly staff, and close to town. But finding sleep here is totally impossible. If you're looking for a place where you can stay up all night and party - this is the perfect place. But if you're needing sleep to be able to function, this is not the location for you, because the lack of it has really ruined my trip.
