This hotel provided a great stay! Room was immaculate, aircon and balcony included. There was helpful and courteous staff at reception. Highly recommend and would definitely come back!
This hotel is in the ideal spot - close enough to walk to many attractions and easy to get a taxi if you're not up for it. Our first room was on the small side, but it got the job done. The downside was that it only had a skylight and I'm not a fan of enclosed spaces so I asked to change rooms. The hotel staff happily moved us the following day and our new room was great - plenty of space and lots of windows and balconies. We loved it. Breakfast was amazing with a fantastic choice of continental food, fruits, yoghurt and hot options like bacon and eggs. All the staff were so lovely and I couldn't recommend this hotel enough.
This place is a real gem, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Fantastic location, with all the staff being incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, with plenty of options. Everything was kept nice and clean by housekeeping. Thanks for the great stay, looking forward to coming back again soon!
Pros of Hotel Suizo: 1. The staff were friendly & helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We asked where to go for food & drinks & the guy at reception recommended a few places for us to try. 2. The room was really comfortable & spacious, with a large bed & plenty of wardrobe space. It was also really clean & the air conditioning was a blessing as it was so hot! 3. Breakfast was included in our stay & was really good, with plenty of variety. We especially liked the fresh fruit & pastries.
Cons of Hotel Suizo: 1. The WiFi was a bit slow & only available in the lobby. 2. The other guests were quite noisy at night, although this is to be expected in a city centre hotel.
Overall we had a great stay & would definitely book this hotel again for our next visit to Barcelona. The location was perfect for exploring & the staff were really friendly. We found the Hotel Suizo to be good value for money & would recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
I stayed at the Hotel Suizo recently and from the beginning it was an unpleasant experience. The poor English level of a lady from their reservations department caused my reservation to be cancelled and I was unable to go and stay there. This was even after she had confirmed to me twice that I could change the dates of my accommodation. Both the hotel and Booking.com were blaming each other, yet none of them seemed to care about me as a customer who had already paid the full amount. It was clear that the customer relationship was not of high priority for either party and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
