What an absolute diamond of a guy, he was so helpful and friendly and even gave us a late checkout. Everything about my stay was perfect - I would definitely stay at Hotel Transit again!
My partner and I also stayed at Hotel Transit recently and had a great time! The location is unbeatable! It was so easy to get around thanks to the nearby train station, it was very convenient. Our room was comfortable, nicely decorated and very clean - though it was quite small. The views were very beautiful, you could see the train station from our window! The receptionist Jonathan was so kind and helpful as well - he offered us a late checkout, which was very helpful. All in all, our experience at Hotel Transit was great and I would not hesitate to stay here again!
I never got a response.
Visited the hotel in October based on reviews online and had reasonable expectations. I found the staff to be friendly and accommodating with the exception of an overnight desk agent. Upon returning to the room on the second evening, I was shocked to find a large number of ants all over the room, coming from the walls. I pulled back the sheets to find the bed covered in ants and blood and hair from the previous guest. I asked for a room move at the front desk, but it was declined. After showing them pictures of the room, the agent merely said the bugs were "friends" and gave me a smaller room with a twin bed on a different floor, without offering any kind of apology, refund, or discount. I booked through a travel agency but despite trying to contact the hotel 7 times by phone and sending 21 emails, I never received a response.
but for a layover, I don’t think you could do better, so it’s not a total loss.
Not great. The Hotel Transit provided a place to sleep and the free WiFi was abysmal. The entire facility is poorly maintained and could use a good cleaning. The balcony door was broken and the safe was laughable - it was definitely not big enough for a person's belongings. The shower was unpleasantly small and had a temperature lever sticking out that was hard to keep at a comfortable level. For a layover hotel, it was quite bad. However, the market value of the room was quite low and so, one could say that you get what you pay for. Ultimately, it was a cheap place to rest, and thus, not a complete loss.
I would stay here again if I needed to, but better soundproofing and a bit of maintenance would really improve the experience.
