The location of Ibis Barcelona Plaza Glòries 22@ was absolutely ideal for us. It was close to so many great attractions and transportation options, making it easy to explore the city. We really enjoyed the vast array of breakfast options. The clean and comfortable room was great for our family of four and we felt the staff were helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying there again on our next visit to Barcelona!
I recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for good quality and friendly service in Barcelona.
Ibis Barcelona Plaza Glòries 22@ was not worth the €150/night price tag it was charging. Even though it's located in a quiet residential/industrial area that is dead at night, you can reach Rambla Poblenou for some restaurants and shopping within 10 minutes. Nearest metro stations, Glories or Llacuna, are also 10 minutes away. Breakfast costs €9 per person, and it wasn't worth it either. I found a better breakfast (hot, not cold) at Little Fern nearby. The area also smelled like sewage. The beach's a good 20 minutes' walk away. I would rather have stayed at Ibis Cornella, where I paid 60% less, and still got the same amenities as this place. All in all, I wouldn't recommend this place to any visitors, unless they have business in the immediate area.
