My experience at the "Inout" Hotel in Barcelona was a complete scam. The room I booked was not at all as advertised. Despite booking a private twin room, it did not come with the promised amenities such as a desk, seating area, fan, or wardrobe. The only thing provided was a non-functional fan. Additionally, the private bathroom was located outside of my room and had a strong cabbage smell. But the biggest issue was the door's self-locking system, which made it difficult to close from the outside as the handle would fall off every time. When I addressed these concerns with the front desk, the staff member dismissed them with a chuckle. He even went as far as to say I didn't need the fan because it doesn't get that hot at night in Barcelona and that it's not the hostel's responsibility to provide food despite having a restaurant on-site. It was clear that this place does not take guest satisfaction seriously.
To make matters worse, the so-called "quiet time" from 0:00 to 7:00 was not enforced at all. I could hear people partying and making loud noises all night long, with no action taken by the staff. The reception desk was also frequently moved to the restaurant, which was inconvenient for guests who had to climb a steep mountain to reach the property and then walk even further. It was also concerning that the front desk was left unattended at times, with cash and other valuable items easily accessible.
Although I appreciate the hotel's efforts to employ people with disabilities, it seems like they are being taken advantage of as I saw the same staff members working long hours every day. Furthermore, my attempts to contact the hotel after my stay were ignored, forcing me to involve Trading Standards in Spain to address the issues. This establishment needs to be inspected and shut down immediately. Overall, my stay at the "Inout" Hotel was disappointing and I would not recommend it to anyone.
It was ok. We knew it was a hostel, and that was enough for us. The room, towels, and linens were clean. The food was good. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The swimming pool and space for soccer and basketball were great for my children and us. There were also board games, but not competitive. On the downside, there were nightly parties on the terrace. We were unlucky as the metro was closed for half of our stay, extending our journey to the centre of Barcelona to an hour. The following week it only took 20 minutes. The road to the hostel is on a hill, which was difficult for us with heavy luggage. All in all, we will remember our stay fondly.
This hotel is situated a bit outside of the bustling city, so if you're looking for a calm and peaceful place to rest your head, this is a perfect choice! There's a bit of a hill before you reach the destination, but the views and spacious rooms are well worth it. The city is easily accessible, just about 7 stops away. Be sure to come prepared as there aren't any shops nearby.

This place is a great base to explore the city. Although the breakfast ? isn't worth the price, the general atmosphere ? here is friendly and clean. There are frequent public transport options ? up to midnight close by and the neighbourhood is fairly quiet. ? They advertise to be sustainable, but I spotted some ??♀️ flaws when it came to energy efficiency and vegan options. Despite this, I still think it's a good place to stay! ?
This hotel made a huge mistake when it came to our booking. We paid extra for a private room, but when we showed up, we were put in a room with 20 other people in bunk beds. Despite our disappointment, no refunds were offered. Avoid this place at all costs.
