The staff at this hotel was absolutely wonderful - so kind and helpful. Their breakfast was fantastic. It's located in the town center, and is just a 10 minute walk from Plazza Catalunya. They even have a small pool available. However, the rooms are way too small. There's no space to fit in two suitcases! We stayed in room 610, so perhaps some rooms are bigger.
the price to use the laundry service was quite ridiculous at €18 per load. Apart from this the room was very nice, reasonably clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall I would recommend this hotel and would stay again.
After spending quite a bit of time at Leonardo Hotel Barcelona Gran Via I can confidently say it's a great hotel for short stays. I was impressed with the room which was neat, clean and very comfortable - the staff were all friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, if you have any food allergies I would advise you to be weary- there were no labels on the breakfast items showing potential allergens. This made it a high-risk situation for me as I'm allergic to nuts, and I had to avoid a lot of the food. Additionally, the laundry service was a bit expensive at €18 per load. Despite these minor issues, I would still recommend this hotel and would stay again.
The reception staff were also very friendly and helpful. The location is ideal, close to the metro and shops and the hotel itself is modern and clean. We enjoyed our stay here so much, we will be returning soon.
We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Leonardo. Our room was spotless and spacious, so despite staying in a room at the front of the hotel, it was still quiet. Our package included breakfast and it was a great variety with so much to choose from. The highlight of the breakfast service was Borja. He was so friendly, professional and helpful. The reception staff were also very accommodating and welcoming. The hotel's location was great, close to the metro, shops and other attractions. The hotel itself was modern, clean and comfortable. We both had a superb stay and will definitely be returning in the near future.
We recently stayed at Leonardo Hotel Barcelona Gran Via for a 3 night stay over the weekend and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect. The room was spotless, large and comfortable and the bed was really comfortable. The shower was really nice and the bath was a bit small but that was fine. Also, the breakfast in the morning was delicious with a huge selection of hot and cold food, cakes, bread and cereal at a very reasonable price. The hotel is a short walk away from the metro station but you are only a 15 minute walk away from Las Ramblas. For the price, we felt it was a very classy hotel and would definitely recommend it to our friends who are visiting Barcelona in the near future.
I had a great 5 day stay at Leonardo Hotel Barcelona Gran Via, however it was marred by an unfortunate incident that happened on my last day. Whilst I was waiting in the lobby, my bag was stolen by a very professional thief who appeared to know exactly when we would be leaving. When I asked if there was any CCTV footage, the receptionist refused citing the need to obtain permission from her boss who lived an hour away by train. It was a huge disappointment as the hotel had so much potential in terms of customer service, safety and empathy to work on.
