We initially had difficulty finding this place, but when we did, we were thoroughly impressed. Great check-in experience, spotlessly clean, plus free water provided - something that should be a standard for all hotels. Its location was superb too; only 5 minutes walk to the airport bus, 2 minutes walk to La Rambla and just 35 minutes walk to the Sagrada Familia. We really liked everything about this hotel, but one thing disappointed us - if you're staying in room 1 or 2, you can hear all the conversations and general noise from the lift, reception and even the late-arriving guests at all hours of the day and night. This needs addressing as it really impacted upon our stay.
Just back from a few days in the Maldà Singular Hotel. We had received an email with clear directions, and it was easy to locate the hotel. Our room (no. 11) was very peaceful and in a great location. It was just the right size, and immaculately clean. The staff at the reception were very friendly, and gave us lots of recommendations for places to eat. Can definitely recommend this hotel, it was an enjoyable stay.
The hotel staff were excellent - friendly and helpful. The room was nice with a great view of the city. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and had nice amenities. The location is also very convenient - close to shops and restaurants. The only downside was that the wifi connection was not reliable. Despite this, I had a great stay at Maldà Singular Hotel and would highly recommend it. The security is reassuring and the location is ideal. The staff were really friendly, my room was great and the amenities were spot on. There is no elevator to access the hotel, but the walk down the stairs was not too taxing. The wifi could have been better, but overall I was very pleased with my stay here.
