I recently stayed at a hotel in Barcelona for 3 nights. On the first night, my experience was unpleasant and I wanted to check out immediately. The hotel lobby and staircase were not easily accessible for someone with disabilities. Additionally, the WiFi was not functioning properly and when I brought it to the attention of the receptionist, I was informed that I would need to pay extra for a stronger connection. The room was also only equipped with hot air, which made it uncomfortably warm. When I asked for assistance, I was told to turn off the air conditioner, but this made the room too stuffy. I had to open the window for some fresh air, but unfortunately, it was too noisy to sleep with the window open. Overall, my experience was not good and I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

This accommodation is approximately a 20-minute walk from the city's central area. Our room, located on the fifth floor, had a continuous noise of doors being shut. Furthermore, we were able to hear our neighbors showering quite distinctly.

The location was great and the staff were incredibly friendly during our stay. We chose this hotel for its proximity to the cruise terminal, and it was a 30-minute taxi ride costing 25 euros from the airport. It was also just a 15-minute, 15 euro taxi ride to the terminal. Unfortunately, I had fallen ill with Covid and had to spend some extra nights at the hotel while my wife explored the city. The free wifi was reliable and allowed us to easily browse the web. The linens and towels were clean, although the beds were quite small. They were two separate beds pushed together, which was fine for a couple but not as comfortable when separated. We found a nice restaurant, O'Tubo, just a couple doors down. The food was good, but we recommend avoiding off-peak hours as the quality can be inconsistent if not prepared by a trained chef. My wife, who does not drink coffee, highly recommends the cappuccino from the small Roast Club two blocks to the left. She went there every day. We opted for the breakfast option, but were disappointed to find flies in the food area on three occasions. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

The hotel was located in a fantastic neighborhood that provided an authentic glimpse into Barcelona before modernization took over. It was conveniently within walking distance to popular attractions and various museums. The surrounding area was bustling with charming cafes, lively bars, delicious restaurants, and tempting bakeries. I was pleased with the option to decline housekeeping services, which earned me rewards. My room was on the 6th floor, offering a spacious layout and a massive balcony. However, the lack of windows in the living room area made it a bit dark and unwelcoming. The water pressure in the bathroom was exceptional and the bed was cozy. The staff was friendly and helpful, which added to my overall experience. The parking space was tight but sufficient. I was impressed by the enormous closet space and the hotel had enough elevators for its size, including one dedicated for the housekeeping staff. The air conditioning was top-notch and the interior noise was minimal. The only downside was the hotel's proximity to a main road leading to a hospital, resulting in frequent ambulance sirens. Perhaps they could take cues from the nH hotel in Andorra la Vella, known for its outstanding exterior soundproofing.

Our stay in Barcelona couldn't have been better, and it was all thanks to the wonderful hotel we chose. Located just a short walk away from the Urgell/Borrell Aerobus stop, the hotel was easily accessible from the airport. Plus, with the Urgell Metro stop (line 1) nearby, we were able to purchase our T-casual travel tickets on our way. Despite being slightly outside of the city center on the map, getting around was a breeze with bus stops and Metro stations close by. And even when we needed a cab, we never paid more than 12 euros for a ride back from our daily adventures. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, allowing my elderly mother to have a room with a walk-in shower. We were even able to store our luggage and explore the surrounding area, which had plenty of restaurants and shops to discover. There was also a convenient Lidl just a short walk away. A bus stop just across the street took us directly to the Sagrada Familia and Casa Battlo. Our room on the 4th floor was easily accessible via the efficient lifts. It was simply decorated but had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a comfortable bed, powerful shower (perfect after a long day in the 29 degree heat!), and essential air conditioning during the summer. The room also had a desk, armchair, luggage stand, and ample wardrobe space. We were pleasantly surprised to find USB sockets by the bed, making it easy to charge our phones without needing an adapter plug. And the safe was simple to use for added peace of mind. But the real highlight for us was the breakfast. The lovely lady who managed the breakfast room during the week provided exceptional service and the selection of food was fantastic. From hot dishes like scrambled eggs and bacon to traditional Spanish omelette, cold cuts, pastries, fruits, cereals, and even cakes and desserts, there was something for everyone. We always left feeling fully satisfied and ready for a day of sightseeing. The breakfast room was never too busy in the mornings, allowing us to take our time and enjoy our meal in a relaxed and clean environment. We would definitely book this hotel again and are grateful to the entire staff for making our stay so enjoyable.
